A forging die includes on one face, a half-imprint of a part to be forged such as a turbine engine blade. The die also includes on the face, a device for forming a marking along two directions relatively to which the position of the imprint is defined, the device including two pads protruding relatively to the face and each including two notches defining the two directions. This device preferably includes two pads machined on the die at the same time as the imprint, and each including two notches in the form of a cross.

A method for three-dimensional measurement of coordinates of a set of N predetermined points of the surface of a mechanical part to be measured, relatively to a predetermined reference system, and the direction cosines of the theoretical normals thereto at the theoretical points corresponding to the N predetermined points are known, and including a preparatory phase, in which the coordinate points, corresponding to the N predetermined points of a first mechanical part taken as a standard part, are measured; an initialization phase, in which displacement measurements (along the normals are read on the N points of the standard part; a measurement phase, in which N linear displacement measurements performed on the N points of the part to be measured corresponding to the N points of the standard part, are read; and a computation phase, in which the coordinates of the N points of the part to be measured are computed.

In a computerized method, a computer program is analyzed while the program is interpreted. The program is expressed in a first memory as input values and functions. Some of the input values are complex values which can have a plurality of component values. Each function operates on combinations of the input values and the functions of the program. The program is interpreted in a processor connected to the first memory. The processor is also connected to a second memory to store result values produced during the interpretation. Selected input values, components of the complex values, and functions are named only if the selected values, components, and functions are necessary to produce a selected result value. For each function of the program, the function which is interpreted, the input values on which the function depends, and the result value produced by the function during interpretation, are recorded in the second memory to dynamically perform a precise dependency analysis of the program.
