A tie comprising a strap () having two end portions (A,B) respectively provided with a female portion and a male portion of a fastening system is characterized in that the female portion of the fastening system is an opening () in the strap that is bordered by a cleavable region (A-C) of the strap. Said tie can be used to create an animal identification band whose diameter can be increased without removing the band from the animal.

The invention relates to a ceiling light with an oblong light housing. Tubular sheathing channel to encase bunched cables

A tubular sheathing channel assembly for housing bunched cables. The assembly includes a longitudinally slit sheathing wall of elastic plastic material and includes a pair of projections which are molded on along the slits (2) and which are formed with an L-shaped cross-section, and which are embraced by C-shaped clamp members. Clamp walls (13) of the clamp member (5) are guided on the projections (4) such that they may be moved in longitudinal direction and are equipped with fastening portions (6) in order to anchor the sheathing wall (1) on a carrier plate (21). The projections (3) preferably are equipped with interlockable groove and tongue (10) and (11) on the inside walls (9).

A metal anchor for mounting screws in thin wall boards made of plasterboard, pressed wood or similar building material includes a body (1) formed from a sheet metal plate and provided with semi circular retention ridges (2) projecting alternately to each side, which are matched in width and pitch to the thread shape of the screw (13) to be tightened such that the retention ridges (2) engage into the latter's thread grooves (19). A holding device for vertically positioning a window pane in the window frame of a motor vehicle, including a retaining part adapted to be secured in a transverse part of the frame, a supporting part moveable with respect to the retaining part and adapted to engage with an edge of the window pane, and a spring acting between the supporting part and the retaining part for urging the supporting part in the direction of the plane of the window pane towards the edge. The retaining part has a pawl pivotally connected to it for movement between a holding position where it engages the supporting part and holds it and the spring in an initial tensioned position and a release position where it is located in a recess in the retaining part and allows the spring to urge the supporting part against the edge of the window pane. The pawl is resiliently biased toward the holding position and located so that it will be pushed into the release position by the window pane as it is being inserted into the window frame.
