A composition for combatting fungal and bacterial diseases in plants is disclosed which contains, as the active ingredient, a compound of the formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 is hydrogen or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can additionally form an ethylene or propylene chain which is optionally substituted by alkyls containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which are identical or different, are hydrogen, an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl radical containing from 3 to 7 carbon atoms, an alkenyl radical containing from 3 to 18 carbon atoms, the phenyl radical or the benzyl radical, in association with an inert carrier which is acceptable in agriculture.

Fungicidal compositions

The invention relates to sulphur-containing products with an amide group, which are derived from aniline. These compounds have the formula: ##STR1## They are used as anti-fungal agents.

Process for producing N-substituted amides

Fungicidal compositions for controlling fungus diseases in plants are disclosed. These compositions contain as their active materials compounds and polymers thereof corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## in which Y', Y', Z' and Z' represent a hydrogen atom or an optionally halogenated alkyl radical containing from 1 to 5 carbon atoms. Included within these active materials are the hydrolysates, salts and quaternary salts of these phospholanes. These cyclic phospholanes or phosphites and their hydrolysates are compatible with other commercial fungicides and the compositions disclosed include these compounds above and in combination with such other fungicides.

These cyclic phospholanes or phosphites and their hydrolysates are compatible with other commercial fungicides and the compositions disclosed include these compounds above and in combination with such other fungicides.
