Device for protection of screens used for heat-recovery boilers, composed of vertical tubes 1, 14 joined together using welded ribs (17) installed between fireproof bricks and fitted with means for fastening them, these tubes being equipped with vertical auxiliary fastening ribs 2, 11; 3, 13 forming an angle of between 30.degree. and 60.degree. with the plane of the ribs 17, and made discontinuous at intervals on the vertical sections of the tubes. A first series of bricks in fastened on the upper portion of the auxiliary ribs.
