An insulated connection system for connecting a first busbar and a second busbar to at least a first connector and a second connector. The second busbar including a bar orifice to connect the first connector to the first busbar. The insulated connection system including an electrically insulating casing defining: a first recess portion for accommodating a first connecting portion of the first busbar, a second recess portion for accommodating a second connecting portion of the second busbar, and a sleeve portion for accommodating a portion of the second busbar provided with the bar orifice. The insulated connection system further including a busbar positioning assurance (BPA) member of electrically insulating material configured to accommodate a portion of the first connector and to be received in the connector passage and the bar orifice.

Insulated connection system for busbars

Connection assembly comprising a connector and a counter-connector. The shielding cage of the connector has attachment means which are formed by deformation of the shielding cage, without an opening being created. The attachment means are configured to prevent the internal element of the connecting casing from moving in translation with respect to the shielding cage, parallel to the coupling direction (A). The shielding cage is prevented from moving in translation parallel to the coupling direction (A) with respect to the external casing element with the aid of the retaining device.

Shielded connector assembly

Electrical connector comprising a detection device for detecting potential overheating, which comprises an electrically conductive element and an electrically insulating element inserted between the electrically conductive element and a low-voltage line. The electrically conductive element exerts an elastic force on the insulating element. For example, the electrically conductive element is a spring. In the event of overheating, the insulating element deforms under the pressure of the electrically conductive element and enables an electrical connection between two low-voltage lines. The overheating is detected as a consequence of the electrical design of this connection between the low-voltage lines.

Passive detection of overheating in a power connector

Connector assembly comprising a housing and a strain-relief device attached to the housing for clamping a cable in a fixed position at the rear opening of the housing. The strain-relief device comprises first and second portions, both made of a single part and being detachable from the housing. The first portion has a first arcuate surface engaging the outer sheath of the cable, and the first portion also comprising first retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the first portion on the housing. The second portion has a second arcuate surface also engaging the outer sheath, and the second portion also comprising second retaining means engaging the housing for retaining the second portion on the housing. Connector assembly with strain relief device in two parts

An electrical connector having a mate assist system including a user actuatable member which slides along an operating direction between a rear position and a forward position, a first and a second rack sections extending parallel to the operating direction, and first and second rotatable cam members having a cam slot configured to receive a respective mounting pin protruding from a mating electrical connector. Each rotatable cam member engages a respective rack section and the first and second cam members rotate in opposite directions when the user actuatable member is moved from its rear position towards its forward position.

Electrical connector with a mate assist system

Described is a power connection device of an electric battery including a cage, a busbar and a contact pad. The cage is made from a first material chosen for its mechanical properties and rigidity. The busbar and the pad are made from a second material chosen for its electrical conduction properties. The cage also comprises spring means designed to clamp at least a portion of a tab, inserted into the cage, against the pad. A connection assembly comprising the power connection device and a tab electrically connected to a battery cell is also described.

An electrical connection shunt assembly is designed to be coupled electrically between two electrical contact terminal connectors. The assembly includes a set of electrical current conduction elements. The set of conduction elements comprising a first terminal and a second terminal designed to be coupled with a first and a second electrical contact terminal connectors, an electrical coupling element for the first and second terminals designed to allow electrical current flow from a first terminal to the second terminal. At least one of the conduction elements comprises a shunt conduit that is arranged through the conduction element so as to have a coolant flow therein.

Device for electrical connection and cooling thereof

The invention relates to an electric connector with a shield contact. This connector comprises a sleeve with a cavity designed to receive the end of at least one cable provided with a first contact and a shielding ferule, and an outer surface. This connector also comprises a metal shield contact ring having at least one inner elastic tongue extending toward the inside of the cavity to establish an electric contact with the ferule, and at least one outer elastic tongue extending toward the outside of the outer surface to establish an electric contact with the shield of a counter-connector or a housing incorporating a counter-connector having a second contact connected to the first contact, when the connector and the counter-connector are coupled.

A connector system is described herein. The connector system includes a first connector having a first fastener and a second connector having a second fastener cooperating with the first fastener to fasten the first connector to the second connector. The first connector includes a blocking component that is moveable between a blocking position, in which the blocking component is locked and prevents cooperation of the first fastener with the second fastener, and an non-blocking position in which the blocking component allows the first fastener to cooperate with the second fastener. The second connector includes a marker interacting with the blocking component in order to unlock the blocking component when the first and second connectors are in a position for connection, thereby allowing movement of the blocking component from the blocking position to the non-blocking position. A method of assembling such a connector system is also presented.

Connector system and method of assembling same

An electrical connection device includes a housing with a tubular cavity and a contact having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a cylindrical first external surface oriented about a longitudinal axis and is inserted into the tubular cavity of the housing. The second portion extends outside the tubular cavity and has an orientation zone with a second external surface that is partially, but not completely, cylindrical about the longitudinal axis. The electrical connection device further includes an anti-rotation device, displaceable in translation up to a final position, and having a first surface complementary to the second external surface of the orientation zone and abutting thereon when the anti-rotation device is in the final position and the contact is oriented in an operating position. A method of mounting such an electrical connection device is also provided.

Electrical connection device and method for mounting an electrical connection device

The invention relates to a shielded connector for a motor vehicle. The connector comprises at least one casing shielding element. The shielding element includes a cable outlet portion provided with a plurality of resilient tabs that are integral with the shielding element. The tabs include a contact zone in electrical contact with a ferrule crimped to a shielding braid of a cable. The contact zone is maintained pressed against the shielding braid by means of a removable clamping ring.

An electrical connector including a housing made of rigid electrically insulating material and having an outer portion and an inner portion designed to receive an electrical terminal, a shielding made of electrically conductive material surrounding the inner portion including a rear extension, a sealing system including an outer seal, and an inner seal provided between the inner portion and the shielding.
