A disposable device for the continuous centrifugal separation of a physiological fluid includes: a fixed axial element; a centrifugation chamber that can rotate around the axis of the element; an inlet channel for the blood to be centrifuged, whose dispensing port is close to the base of the chamber; and an outlet passage for a separated constituent, whose inlet port is close to the other end of the chamber in a concentrated area of one of the separated constituents having the lowest mass density in order to remove it continuously. The chamber takes the form of a long tube. The fixed axial element includes a second outlet passage for a second separated constituent, whose inlet port is close to the end of the chamber opposite the base in a concentrated area of the second separated constituent having the highest mass density in order to remove it continuously.

This chamber comprises at least one first intake channel for the blood, at least one second intake channel for a sterile washing solution, at least one first outlet channel for at least one constituent of this blood, and at least one second outlet channel for a fluid composed of said washing solution and of the other blood constituents. The second intake channel has its downstream end continued on its periphery by a circular deflector. The latter extends into the bottom of the chamber and is terminated along its inner cylindrical side wall by a ridge, which defines a passage of annular cross section for the flow of said sterile washing solution.

A disposable device for centrifugation of blood is used for separating or also washing constituents of the blood includes a centrifugation chamber with a revolving shaft and an opening through which the shaft passes, a rotational guide, a rotational driver, and at least one static member for admission/evacuation engaged in the centrifugation chamber. This member includes at least one channel for intake of the blood and at least one outlet channel for one of its constituents, and at least one admission channel for a pressurized gaseous fluid which opens out inside the centrifugation chamber. A gap is formed in the opening between the centrifugation chamber and the static member and allows the gaseous fluid to escape from the centrifugation chamber.

The invention relates to disposable device for the continuous centrifugal separation of a physiological fluid. The inventive device comprises: a fixed axial element; a centrifugation chamber which is mounted such that it can rotate around the axis of said element; an inlet channel for the blood to be centrifuged, the dispensing port of which is located close to the base of the chamber; and an outlet passage for a separated constituent, the inlet port of which is located close to the other end of the chamber in a concentrated area of one of the separated constituents having the lowest mass density in order for same to be removed continuously. The above-mentioned chamber takes the form of a long tube. The fixed axial element comprises a second outlet passage for a second of the separated constituents, the inlet port of which is located close to the end of the chamber opposite the above-mentioned base in a concentrated area of said second separated constituent having the highest mass density in order for same to be removed continuously.

This pump with a battery-powered drive device comprises a circular elastic diaphragm () and two valves (), which has a diameter of 3 to 25 mm and is subjected to a compressive prestress of between 1'10and 4'10Pa capable of enabling it to return to its rest position at a maximum working frequency of between 8 and 12 Hz with a travel of between 0.2 and 2 mm, corresponding to a maximum flow rate of 1.5 to 2.5 l/h. Compact centrifuge device and use of same

The disposable flexible pouch for collecting and filtering blood has two inner chambers separated from each other by a filtering screen (11), a first chamber being connected to the outside by an outlet opening for the filtered blood and a second chamber being connected to the outside by an inlet opening for the blood to be processed. The pouch is formed from two superposed walls (1, 2) made of a flexible plastic material and bonded together by welding of their respective peripheral edges (3). The inlet and the outlet openings for the blood, as well as an outlet opening (5) for the suction air provided with a bacterial filter, are all made in the same wall (2) forming the pouch and the filtering screen (11) having a lower surface at the surface of this same wall (2) cooperates with the inner face thereof to form several compartments communicating with one another and forming the second chamber, so that the retention volume is reduced.
