A compression device includes a first compressor and a second compressor mounted in parallel, each compressor including a leakproof enclosure including a low pressure portion containing a motor and an oil sump, an oil level equalization conduit putting into communication the oil sumps of the first and second compressors, and control means adapted for controlling the starting and the stopping of the first and second compressors. The first compressor includes first detection means coupled with the control means and adapted for detecting an oil level in the oil sump of the first compressor. The control means are adapted for controlling the stopping of the second compressor when the oil level detected by the first detection means falls below a first predetermined value.

The separating device according to the invention comprises a body delimiting a separating chamber, at least one inlet orifice emerging in the separating chamber and intended to be connected to a discharge orifice of the refrigerant compressor so as to allow a lubricant-refrigerating gas mixture to be introduced into the separating chamber, at least one lubricant outlet orifice emerging in the separating chamber and intended to be connected to a lubricant pan formed in the refrigerant compressor. The separating device comprises a first measuring means arranged to measure the temperature of the lubricant contained in the lubricant pan formed in the refrigerant compressor, and a regulating means arranged to regulate the temperature of the lubricant separated in the separating chamber as a function of the temperature of the lubricant measured by said first measuring means.

This refrigeration compressor includes a plurality of compression units, each compression unit having a cylinder head including a refrigerant suction chamber and a refrigerant discharge chamber, a refrigerant distribution device having a distribution pipe and bypass pipes putting the distribution and the suction chambers of the compression units in communication, and a refrigerant discharge device having a discharge pipe and bypass pipes putting the discharge pipe and the discharge chambers of the compression units in communication. The compressor also includes a pressure equilibration pipe arranged to put the suction chambers of at least two compression units and/or the discharge chambers of at least two compression units in communication.

Piston refrigeration compressor

A scroll-type refrigerant compressor includes a drive shaft with an off-axis lubrication conduit which is supplied with oil from an oil pan located in the lower part of the compressor by an oil pump that is disposed at a first end of the shaft. The lubrication conduit has lubrication holes at the different shaft guide bearings. The second end of the shaft is equipped with a device that enables the orbital movement of the moving scroll of the compressor. The aforementioned shaft also includes a return conduit which is inclined in relation to the axis of the shaft and which extends over at least part of the length thereof. One of the ends of the return conduit opens at the wall of the shaft in the area located beyond the rotor on the side of the oil pan. In addition, fluid communication is provided between the lubrication conduit and the return conduit.

Cabinet for a refrigeration compressor delimiting an inner space designed to receive electrical and electronic components, characterized by having at least one support for the electrical and electronic components and a protective cap having an open side face delimited by an edge whose shape at least partially matches the shape of the side wall of compressor, cap being intended to be applied by its open side face against the side wall of the compressor, thus forming one of the walls of the cabinet. The cabinet accommodates the electrical and electronic command, control, and protection components on refrigeration compressors ensuring that the electrical and electronic components are held at their operating temperature and that tightness and vibrations are at an acceptable level.

A compressor assembly includes a compressor having a known vibration frequency when operated at normal operating parameters; and an electric box assembly having a frame member mounted to the compressor for containing electrical components related to the compressor, the electric box assembly having a natural frequency which is different from the known vibration frequency. This avoids amplification of vibration into the electric box assembly and thereby protects the assembly from damage due to same.

Device for distributing suction gas for a parallel compressor installation, said installation having at least two refrigeration compressors, at least one oil level equalization tube providing a communication between the oil pans provided in the bodies of the compressors, at least one suction gas distribution device comprising an essentially straight distribution tube, and branch tubes. The branch tubes have at least one portion forming an angle of between 55&#xb0; and 65&#xb0; with the axis of the distribution tube. The present invention uses a special geometry for equalizing the pressures in the oil pans of each compressor and thus using simple equalization channels.

Gas distribution device

Compressor, comprising a sealed outer casing, inside which is arranged a gas compression stage driven by a motor arranged inside the outer casing. The lower part of the inner casing containing the motor is sealingly closed by a bottom, and at least one vertical chimney is arranged in the annular space formed between the outer casing and the lower casing, the chimney being arranged substantially vertically along the motor and the lower casing, and communicating in its upper part with the low-pressure zone of the compressor and, in its lower part, with the inside of the lower casing, one or more openings being made between the chimney and the bottom of the motor.

Low-pressure gas circuit for a compressor

In a compressor at least one bypass valve is arranged in a low-pressure zone inside a casing of the compressor. The bypass valve defines a chamber connected by a first duct to at least one compression pocket situated in the peripheral zone of the compression stage and by a second duct to the low-pressure zone, the two ducts opening near one another so that they can be shut off by a shutter which can move in the chamber, being guided by the walls that delimit this chamber, a third duct intended for conveying a shutter-control fluid opening into the lower wall of the chamber of the valve. The shutter is opened by gravity when no control fluid is applied.

Variable-capacity scroll-type compressor

A scroll compressor having a cylindric hermetically closed shell, a suction chamber within the shell, a scroll mechanism in the shell, lubrication mist generating elements, a suction gas inlet opening radially into the suction chamber and a deflector plate in overlying relationship with the suction gas inlet and cooperating with the shell to delimit a duct having at least an upper opening feeding suction gas to the scroll mechanism. To uniformly laden the suction chamber with sufficient oil, the upper opening is shaped to deflect suction gas into a region within the suction chamber where an oil mist is generated by the mist generating elements during operation.
