A connecting assembly at a driveshaft between the driveshaft and a wheel hub, having end toothing of an outer joint part of a constant velocity joint of the driveshaft, which outer joint part is at the wheel hub end, and having end toothing of the wheel hub, wherein the end toothings are axially inserted into one another and circumferentially engage one another in a play-free way and wherein the teeth of the end toothings each comprise radially outwardly opening circumferential grooves which are delimited by two flanks and which, jointly, form a circumferentially extending annular groove in which, on the outside, there is arranged a securing ring; as well as a connecting assembly at a driveshaft between the driveshaft and a shaft flange, having end toothing of an outer joint part of a constant velocity joint of the driveshaft, which outer joint part is at the shaft flange end, and having end toothing of the shaft flange, wherein the end toothings are axially inserted into one another and circumferentially engage one another in a play-free way and wherein the teeth of the end toothings each comprise radially outwardly opening circumferential grooves which are delimited by two flanks and which, jointly, form a circumferentially extending annular groove in which, on the outside, there is arranged a securing ring.

A transmission joint of the sliding type has a joint body (12) and a tripode (14) having three arms (16) each of which is capable of sliding between two parallel and plane surface portions (36) by means of an articulation element (18) which is carried by the arm (16) of the tripode (14) and which comprises two parallel and opposite plane faces (20) each of which interacts with one of the plane surface portions (36) with interposition of a row of bearing needles (32), wherein the joint body (12) comprises three bearing races each comprising two tracks (38) each of which consists of a component comprising a plane surface portion (36) and a convex cylindrical surface portion (40) which interacts with a complementary concave cylindrical bearing surface (42) formed in the joint body (12) with respect to which it is capable of pivoting, and in that each arm (16) of the tripode comprises a journal on which the intermediate articulation element (18) is mounted to revolve about an axis (Y-Y) parallel to its opposite plane surfaces (20).

Articulated transmission joint of the sliding type

A transmission joint body has a plurality of bearing passageways for articulation elements distributed around the axis of the body and, each comprising two raceways arranged to cooperate with articulation elements of the transmission joint. Each raceway includes a first surface of a metal member, a second surface of which is associated with a complementary surface of the joint body and, formed in a portion of the joint body. The body is made of a composite material of a reinforced thermosetting or thermoplastic matrix. The second surface of the metal member is capable of displacement relative to the complementary surface of the joint body.

The joint comprises a tulip element (1) connected to a driving shaft and having three axially extending petal portions (8), a tripod element (3) having three radial arms (4) carrying spherical sectors (18) cooperative with inner spherical bearing surfaces (21) of rollers (6) associated with rolling tracks (7) on the tulip element (1). The tripod element is fixed to a bowl element (9) which is connected to a wheel stub-axle (11). Each arm (4) of the tripod element (3) comprises a portion (15) which is off-center in a radial plane relative to a central ball (5). Two flat surfaces (19) are provided between the spherical sectors (18) and an arrangement for axially connecting the tulip element (1) to the tripod element (3) comprises a central spider element (24) having three branches (25) adapted to cap in a radially floating manner the ball (5) of the tripod element. The branches are provided with an arrangement ( 27) for axially retaining the branches in the tulip element (1), the spider element (24) consequently having two degrees of freedom, namely radially relative to the tulip element and in rotation with the tulip element (1) about the general axis (X--X) of the joint.
