The invention is concerned with a novel process for the manufacture of flowable, non-dusty, binder-free riboflavin granulates by subjecting an aqueous suspension of riboflavin crystals of crystal modification B/C to a fluidized bed spray drying process, a single fluid nozzle spray drying process or a disk-type spray drying process.

Novel, stable, cold water dispersible preparations of fat-soluble substances contain a microbially produced oil rich in arachidonic acid. These preparations are manufactured by preparing an aqueous emulsion of the microbially produced oil which has been stabilized with an antioxidant and fish gelatin and if desired converting this emulsion into a dry powder. The preparations in accordance with the invention can be used for human nutrition.

Water dispersible compositions

The invention is concerned with a flowable dry particle consisting of at least one oleophilic substance as the active ingredient present in a matrix of at least one carrier material and a coating. The coating consists of calcium silicate or of a mixture of calcium silicate with one or more mixture components, with the mixture components being microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium silicate, magnesium oxide, stearic acid, calcium stearate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, kaolin and/or hydrogenated vegetable oil.
