Compositions having rodenticidal activity are disclosed which are constituted by a solution of a compound having anti-coagulant activity and which is an indane dione or a 4-hydroxycoumarin, preferably chlorophacinone, diphacinone, bromadiolone or coumachlor, in a glycol in admixture with a volatile co-solvent, preferably acetone or dichloromethane, which increases the solvent activity of the glycol for the anti-coagulant compound. The composition is stable and may be applied to solid or liquid baits or used to form trail poisons.

Novel medicinal composition for the treatment of biliary lithiasis

Rodenticidal compositions in the form of solutions or emulsions are formed from an anticoagulant substance in a liquid aromatic hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an emulsifier. These compositions, when diluted with water, can be used for the destruction of rodents by spraying the areas in which grow vegetables serving as foodstuffs for the rodents to be destroyed.

Novel rodenticidal compositions employing chlorophacinone

A rodenticidal composition comprises a carrier edible by rodents, the surfaces of the pieces of said carrier being coated with a film comprising a film-forming substance and a toxic substance which reduces the level of prothrombin in the blood of a rodent. The compositions are particularly suitable for destroying rats and mice.

An orally administrable pharmaceutical composition comprises a dosage of the acid oralate of naftidrofuryl having a prolonged release coating which is a film formed from hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and ethyl cellulose, the content of ethyl cellulose being between 30 and 50% and containing 8 to 15% of propylene glycol relative to the total of the cellulose derivatives. The composition, having prolonged therapeutic activity is capable of being used in the treatment of arterial diseases in limbs, circulatory disorders in the hands and feet, cerebral vascular disorders and diffuse circulatory insufficiency with elderly people.
