The invention relates to 6-cyclopropyl-1,3-dihydro-1-methyl-5-phenyl-2-oxo-2H-thieno [2,3-e] diazepine and pharmaceutically acceptable non-toxic acid addition salts, these compounds being useful as medicaments particularly for the treatment of gastro-duodenyl disorders. A synthesis for the diazepine is also described.

Diazepine derivatives

A p-acetamidophenol derivative which is soluble in water giving stable aqueous solutions. This derivative is p-acetamidophenyl diethylaminoacetate, optionally in the form of a non-toxic pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt, particularly the hydrochloride. This derivative rapidly releases the para-acetamidophenol in the organism.

This invention relates to substituted 1,4-dihydropyridines showing interesting physiological activities, particularly on the cardiovascular system. 1,4-Dihydropyridines in accordance with the invention are substituted in the 4-position by a 2-chloropyrid-3-yl or a 2-methylthiopyrid-3-yl group, in the 3- and 5-positions by a methoxycarbonyl or ethoxycarbonyl group and in the 2- and 6-positions by a methyl group. Acid addition salts of these compounds are included in the present invention. The compounds can be prepared by reacting an appropriate 2-substituted nicotinaldehyde with an alkyl acetoacetate. Compounds in accordance with the invention have shown anti-hypertensive activity at very low doses.

The invention relates to 1-aminomethyl-2,2-diaryl cyclopropane carboxamides of the general formula ##SPC1## In which R represents the hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group or a lower alkoxy group; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 which may be the same or different each represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, in addition to which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 together can form with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached a heterocyclic group with 5 to 7 peaks capable of containing a second hetero atom and capable of being substituted, and to their addition salts as new industrial products. These products are suitable for therapeutic application, in particular in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

The invention provides novel aminoethyl esters of 2,2-diphenylcyclopropane carboxylic acids which are anti-tussive agents.
