The present invention makes it possible to present a mosaic image to a user of an audiovisual receiver. The method comprises a step for generating a list of at least one audiovisual channel in order to display its content in a mosaic image. Then, the list is transmitted to a server which then transmits visual data associated with each channel in the list. The visual data is aggregated in order to form a mosaic image which is then displayed at the level of the receiver. According to a first embodiment, the mosaic image is produced at the level of the receiver. According to another embodiment, the mosaic image is created at the level of the server before being transmitted. According to a refinement, a channel is graphically highlighted at the level of the mosaic image, the receiver receives either the audio stream or the video stream or both of the highlighted channel. The invention also relates to the receiver able to implement the method.

Delivery of conditional access data to a receiver that is able to connect to a plurality of scrambled programs. Conditional access for a current channel is handled using standard ECMs delivered with the channel. In parallel, the receiver retrieves an ECM for a separate stream comprising control words for every channel. The control word of this ECM is used to descramble the separate stream to access the control words for every channel. In a preferred embodiment, these control words are super-encrypted using channel keys and the receiver is only able to obtain channel keys for channels for which it has access rights. In case the control words are super-encrypted, they are decrypted. Upon channel change, the relevant retrieved control word is used to descramble the new channel. Also provided is a receiver device and a transmitter device. According to a variant, the control words received in the separate stream is treated only upon a change of channel. The invention enables a reduction or removal of the CA delay when switching between channels.

The main idea of the present invention is to send out a topology determination message on each link of the network, wherein the topology determination message is constituted of two consecutive packets, first one being a broadcast packet with a predetermined payload that identifies it as a topology determination packet, and second one being a unicast packet with the same content and a non-existent destination MAC address.
