The invention relates to a control module () for an electric appliance (), comprising a printed circuit board () whereon electrical and electronic components () are mounted along with at least one power transistor () fixed to a first region () of the printed circuit board () and comprising a drain (D) connected to a first electrically conductive track () of said first region () and a source (S) connected to a second electroconductive track () of a second region () of the printed circuit board (). At least one opening () forms a material discontinuity between the first and second regions () of the printed circuit board (), said opening () being arranged between the first and second conductive tracks ().
