The present disclosure relates to a cooking apparatus including a knob assembly used to operate the cooking apparatus. The cooking apparatus includes a main body comprising a control panel, a valve disposed inside the main body and comprising a valve shaft configured to be movable, and a knob assembly comprising a knob cover rotatably disposed on the control panel, and a knob body configured to be pushed separately from the knob cover to push the valve shaft so that the valve shaft is prevented from being pushed by the knob cover.

The present disclosure relates to an oven having a guide member capable of automatically withdrawing an oven rack from the inside of a cooking chamber when a door is opened and a rail detachably coupled to the cooking chamber and the oven rack to move the oven rack in the front-rear direction. Disclosed herein is a refrigerator including a sliding bar provided in each of a pair of doors and that moves between standby and contact positions to which the sliding bar moves from the standby position to seal a gap between the doors, and a moving device that operates the sliding bar in linkage with operations of opening and closing the doors, wherein the moving device includes a lever that is pressed by the main body and rotatably provided inside the doors to transmit a pressing force in a direction different from a direction in which the lever is pressed by the main body, and a sliding link that operates in linkage with rotation of the lever and configured so that the sliding bar moves between the standby position and the contact position. Through this configuration, the refrigerator minimizes noise related to opening and closing the doors and improves insulation performance.

A dish washing machine having a structure allowing wash water to be evenly sprayed into a washing tub. The dish washing machine includes a cabinet forming an external appearance of the dish washing machine, a washing tub arranged in the cabinet and allowing dishes to be washed therein, a dish basket arranged in the washing tub to accommodate the dishes, a spray unit to spray wash water into the washing tub, a diversion unit arranged inside a flow passage of wash water to divert the wash water sprayed from the spray unit, and a guide member coupled to one side of the diversion unit to allow the diversion unit to move within the washing tub. As the spray unit and the diversion unit are provided, a dead zone which wash water does not reach may be eliminated, and divided and intensive washing may be implemented in the washing tub.

Dish washing machine

Disclosed herein is a dishwasher including a spray unit fixed to one sidewall of a wash tub and a reflecting plate assembly to reflect wash water sprayed from the spray unit onto dishes and to linearly reciprocate in a spray direction of the wash water sprayed from the spray unit. The dishwasher further includes a drive unit to drive the reflecting plate assembly, and a cam unit to transmit driving force of the drive unit to the reflecting plate assembly. The drive unit includes a motor to generate rotational force, and a belt forming a closed loop and caused to make cyclic movement by the motor. The cam unit is engaged with the belt to transmit power of the belt to the reflecting plate assembly. The cam is alternately engaged with first and second portions of the belt to cause the reflecting plate assembly to reciprocate.

Disclosed herein are a washing machine including a moving mechanism and a method of controlling the washing machine. The washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub disposed inside the cabinet, a drum rotatably provided inside the tub, a front panel which is located at one side of the cabinet and comprises an opening through which laundry is inserted and taken out, and a driving unit which moves the tub to change a space between the tub and the front panel. It is possible to prevent oscillation from being transferred by spacing the front panel and the tub apart during washing. Also, it is possible to provide convenience for a user by arranging the front panel and the tub adjacent to each other while inserting or taking out laundry.
