Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for discovery and chaining of virtual functions. An application request can be received from a requestor. The application request can include a request to create an application. Based upon the application request, an application topology associated with the application can be determined. The application topology can define virtual functions and a data flow among the virtual functions. Creation of the plurality of virtual functions in a computing environment can be triggered and an indication of capabilities of the virtual functions can be received. The virtual functions can be chained together to provide functionality associated with the application.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a mobile device that detects a request to associate video content with a television channel for distribution via the television channel, obtains the video content, and identifies a distribution setting of the video content. The mobile device facilitates publication of the video content via the television channel according to the distribution setting, the video content presented via a target media processor identified according to the distribution setting. Method and device for providing a mobile device with service continuity over multiple access networks

A network-based service is utilized to facilitate twinning of two or more communication devices associated with a subscriber account. Incoming communication is intercepted by a communication device and forwarded to a network server, which in turn transmits the incoming communication to the multiple twinned devices. In addition, identifier data associated with outgoing communication is replaced with a primary identifier (e.g., customer telephone number (CTN)) of a user's primary device or a common identifier (e.g., a mobile one number (MON)) assigned to devices associated with the user's subscriber account. Communication devices can be temporarily twinned for a defined time period, during which a common bill can be generated for the twinned devices.
