Overall efficiency and/or flight time of UAVs and Drones can be increased by adding elements containing lighter-than-air gasses; and/or by reducing and/or eliminating the power supplied to any combination of the motors to reduce overall power consumption. In an aspect the configuration of a blimp drone include at least one air cavity/chamber/container filled with lighter-than-air gasses. The 3D chambers are made from swept or extruded closed 2D geometry and are detachable from the Drone and can be transparent or camouflaged in color. To maintain control and altitude of the aircraft, lifting surfaces can be incorporated. Such lifting surfaces may include active and/or passive control surfaces to maintain flight stability. Additionally, cavities, fissures, orifices and valves may be added to the surface of the flying vehicle to gain other efficiency advantages.

High endurance unmanned aerial vehicle

The present disclosure relates to artificial intelligence based systems and method for determination of traffic violations. The present disclosure provides systems and methods that use deep convolutional neural networks and machine vision based algorithms to perform a task of detection and recognition to provide complete solution to safe, legal and comfortable parking, driving and riding for commuters on the roadways. Roadway stewardship systems, Parking management systems when made on-demand and crowdsourced, can play a very strong role in regulating driving conditions in cities and highways. By allowing the on-demand, crowdsourced, roadway stewardship system to be automated, through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) sub-systems, users can be trained to recognize and be educated as well in the laws & regulations around the use of roadways; can help the process through an interactive console/game-play, which can also be used for monetization for individuals to earn money for their contribution. The AI assisted with Human Intelligence (HI) together called HAI in particular, can play a valuable role in reducing traffic density, traffic movement restrictions and fuel and time waste in large cities. Also proper driving on the roads can lead to faster and safer commute. In Addition, multiple other objects of interest can also be identified and trained to be recognized using the Stewardship System disclosed herein.

On-demand artificial intelligence and roadway stewardship system

Assemblies for creating graphic displays and art are disclosed. The assemblies include at least one vehicle that is capable of flight; a series of light emitting elements independently affixed to the vehicle or mounted to one or more radially extending elements; an axis around which the radially extending elements are configured to rotate; and at least one motor that is configured to cause the axis and the radially extending elements to rotate. Rotation of the radially extending elements generates a graphic display produced by the light emitting elements (through a 'persistence of vision' optical illusion). Methods of using such assemblies are also disclosed, such as methods for producing a graphic display (including aggregated graphic displays), methods for creating three-dimensional structures, and methods for camouflaging aerial vehicles and other objects.

Methods and devices for using aerial vehicles to create graphic displays and reconfigurable 3D structures

The foregoing is directed, in one embodiment, to a system for optimizing the continuous monitoring of targets by a collection of mobile sensor platforms comprising a plurality of mobile sensor platforms equipped with a processor, at least one imaging device and a communication device, wherein in the processor of each of the mobile sensor platforms is configured, though code executing therein, to communicate with the other plurality of mobile sensor platforms in order to assign each member of the plurality to obtain image data of a member of a set of targets in response to the receipt of target selection data, and a remote computing device configured to receive imaging data from one or more of the plurality of the mobile sensors and generate a target selection data for transmission to the plurality of mobile sensor platforms.

System and apparatus for integrating mobile sensor platforms into autonomous vehicle operational control

An on-demand, crowdsourced, roadway stewardship system with video reporting features is disclosed. The invention described herein is comprised of a system that allows users with mobile device cameras to record and report roadway safety incidents, traffic violations, crimes and infrastructure problem. Users are encouraged to become stewards by engaging in the system's rewards program. An on-demand style cloud infrastructure is presented which speeds up video processing and citations. Objects of the invention are to enhance safety and increase public participation in safety.

On-demand roadway stewardship system

Multi-wing hovering and gliding flapping Micro Air Vehicles ('MAV') are disclosed. The MAV can have independent wing control to provide enhance energy efficiency and high maneuverability. Power to each wing can be controlled separately by varying the amplitude of the wing flapping, the frequency of the wing flapping, or both. The flapping frequency can be controlled such that it is at or near the natural frequency of the wings for improved energy efficiency. The wings can be controlled by a gear train, coil-magnet arrangement or many other actuation systems that enable variable frequency flapping, variable amplitude flapping, or a combination of both. The gear train mechanism provides gyroscopic stability during flight. The wing flapping can include a rotation, or feathering motion, for improved efficiency. The wings can be transitioned between flapping flight and fixed wing flight to enable gliding and hovering in a single configuration.
