A transit vehicle having a door includes a zero speed condition detection apparatus provided to logically supply a zero condition output signal for each of a plurality of axles when both of the tachometers for each of those axles are under a predetermined zero speed condition. When two or more zero condition output signals are so supplied, a failsafe driver is energized to operate a control relay for determining the operation of the door.

Transit vehicle door control apparatus

There is disclosed improved time slot scanner control apparatus, including a fail-safe control pulse former apparatus provided for each of a desired plurality of information time slots to sequence the data information transfer in relation to the respective track circuits operative with a transit vehicle. An information timing track is provided for sequencing this data information transfer and to reset the apparatus after each provided sequence of time slot control pulses.

A passenger vehicle door control apparatus and method, including programmed computer control apparatus responsive to open door code signals from the wayside in addition to a zero signal to indicate that the train of vehicles has stopped within a passenger station are operative to open the doors of all vehicles at the correct time on the correct side of the train when the train is within the station and traveling at less than a predetermined zero speed.

An improved failsafe logic function apparatus is disclosed which includes an input signal section and an output signal section, with a middle gating network section isolated from each of the input signal section and the output signal section. An external control signal determines the logic function operation of the apparatus.
