A vehicle includes a frame, load floor, subfloor, spare tire, jack, and a tow-eye. The frame defines a trunk. The load floor and the subfloor are each secured to the frame and disposed within the trunk. The load floor and the subfloor define a spare tire receptacle therebetween. The spare tire and the jack each define orifices and are disposed within the receptacle. The tow-eye has a fastening portion extending therefrom. The fastening portion extends through the orifices and engages the subfloor to secure the spare tire and jack to the subfloor.

A tow hook assembly includes a bracket and a tow loop carried on the bracket. The bracket includes a guide track. The tow loop is displaceable along the guide track between a retracted position and a deployed position. A method of deploying a tow loop is also disclosed.

A vehicle tow recovery eye includes a shaft between a towing end connectable to a towable item and an insertion end that is insertable in a vehicle opening, a resistance assembly mounted on the shaft; and a locking pin having an axis that is substantially perpendicular to an axis of the shaft. The tow recovery eye can be used with a portion of a vehicle frame that includes a frame opening dimensioned to accommodate insertion of the shaft and the locking pin.

A facing assembly is provided for a motor vehicle. That facing assembly includes a resilient facing member and a resilient reinforcing element. The resilient reinforcing element engages and supports the resilient facing member against wind forces experienced during vehicle operation so as to provide desired aerodynamics at speed while allowing the necessary flex when contacted by an obstruction to provide clearance and the necessary resiliency to return to the home position once clear of the obstruction. Further, the resilient reinforcing element includes a channel that receives, holds and guides a towing or wench cable and protects the resilient facing member during the towing or wenching operation.

A conversation mirror assembly is provided for use in passenger compartments of motor vehicles. The conversation mirror assembly includes a mirror housing having a mirror support surface. A first conversation mirror face biased toward the driver is fitted to the mirror support surface. A second conversation mirror face biased toward the front seat passenger is fitted to the mirror support surface adjacent the first conversation mirror. The first conversation mirror face and the second conversation mirror face may be either spherical or aspherical. The first conversation mirror face may be separate from the second conversation mirror face. Alternatively, the first conversation mirror face and the second conversation mirror face define two facets of a single mirror.
