An earbud headset, a handset including the same, and methods of operating the headset and handset are provided. In one embodiment, an earbud headset includes a speaker portion that is retractable into and extendable from a base portion, thereby allowing for a thin profile form factor. Advantageously, the earbud headset allows for more convenient storage and/or integration with a handset such that a user may carry the handset and headset much like a single item.

A headset having an integrated boom clip for attaching the headset to an object. The headset includes a bottom enclosure, a hinge system coupled to the bottom enclosure, and a boom coupled to the hinge system. The bottom enclosure, boom and hinge system are configured so that the boom can be selectively positioned relative to the bottom enclosure in a closed position or in an open position. In the closed position the boom can be used to clip the headset to an object such as, for example, the user's clothing.

Systems and methods for a charging station are disclosed. The system generally includes a housing with pockets for receiving a wireless headset and providing charging power from the charging station to the wireless headset. The charging station allows for easy docking and allows the headset to occupy a minimum footprint.

The present invention provides a charging interface. The interface includes a first contact interface system for receiving a male connector. The first interface contact interface system includes a housing with a front surface, where the front surface includes an aperture leading to a well within the housing. A first positive contact is disposed within the well and a first negative contact is disposed within the well. The interface also includes a second contact interface system comprising conductive contacts disposed on the front surface outside the aperture. The conductive contacts comprise a second positive contact and a second negative contact.

Charging interface

A device to automatically dispense the proper amounts of dry baby formula and heated water to make liquid infant formula. The baby bottle is held in place in a pivoting transfer arm with a clip that fastens around the neck of the bottle. After the powdered formula is dispensed, the transfer arm swings the bottle to the water dispensing station. Water heated to the desired temperature is added to the bottle, and the formula is ready to be mixed and served.

Device to automatically prepare infant formula

The present invention is directed to a vascular access device for introducing a catheter in a blood vessel using a guide advancing mechanism. The device generally comprises a housing, an introducer needle, a catheter, a guide wire and an actuating means. The introducer needle of the vascular access device is used to penetrate the blood vessel. The actuating means is then initiated and the guide wire is steadily propelled into the blood vessel. Once the guide wire is in place, the catheter, which is concentrically placed over the introducer needle and guide wire, is uncoupled from the vascular access device and guided into the blood vessel by the guide wire.

A device (10) for rapid vascular drug delivery, particularly through the adult sternum or the pediatric tibia, incorporates a cylindrical syringe body (12), fitted with a needle (14). The syringe body is held in a cylindrical main housing (16) having a front barrel (18) with an orifice (20) through which the needle (14) may be extended. A cylindrical actuation handle (22) fits over end (24) of the main housing (16) for sliding movement along the main housing. A syringe plunger (26) contacts drive plunger (28) and extends into the syringe body (12) from end (30) to confine liquid medication (32) in the syringe body (12). A main spring (34) extends between the drive plunger (28) and the actuation handle (22) to bias the actuation handle (22) in its extended position. A needle return spring (38) extends between the front barrel (18) and the syringe body (12) to bias the needle to its retracted position. The drive plunger (28) has an annular peripheral socket (42) for one or more lock balls (44) which engage one or more openings (45) on the main housing (16) to lock the drive plunger in position with respect to the syringe body (12). A mating annular lock ball trip pocket (46) is positioned on inside surface (48) of the actuation handle to allow the device (10) to be fired when the lock ball(s) in socket (42) reach the pocket (46).

System and method for rapid vascular drug delivery

An inclinometer 20 includes a module 22 which is mounted to a rail 32. The rail 32 has a hollow I-shaped cross-section which affords substantial resistance to torsional and bending loads about the longitudinal axis 34 of the inclinometer 20. The rail 32 and in particular a first end 36 of the I-shaped cross-section includes first and second curves 48, 50 which define lobes which provide a rail design more suitable for gripping and placement by the user.

This invention consists of a foot operated trolling motor control assembly that may be either temporarily clamped to, or permanently mounted upon either the fore or aft located boat transom. Rotational steering of the trolling motor is accomplished through the action of a foot operated pedal pivotally driving the lower end of a vertical lever by an interconnecting, horizontal shaft; a spring loaded connecting rod both vertically and horizontally pivoted to the upper end of the vertical lever; and a split collar and horizontal lever assembly clamped upon a vertical, rotatable, trolling motor shaft with the collar's horizontal lever portion attached to the spring loaded connecting rod through both horizontal and vertical pivots at the rod end opposite the vertical lever mounting. Split bushings may be used within the bore of the split collar assembly in order to accommodate various trolling motor shaft diameters. An auxiliary trolling motor electrical control system is also provided which incorporates a two conductor battery cable, two trolling motor terminals, a foot pedal mounted momentary contact electrical switch, and necessary wiring to provide for the activating of the electrical trolling motor by conveniently pressing the momentary contact switch with the foot when so desired.
