Separable partition assemblies provide privacy between adjoining aircraft cabin sections, e.g., between a main passenger cabin section and a section having an emergency exit and a belted toilet seat such as may be provided in executive aircraft. The separable partition assembly includes a bulkhead structure defining a bulkhead passageway opening to allow passenger egress from one vehicle cabin section to an adjoining vehicle cabin section that is provided with at least one panel sized and configured to close the bulkhead passageway. A nonpermanent mounting system mounts the panel to an inboard edge of the bulkhead structure to allow the at least one panel to be separably uncoupled from the bulkhead structure in response to exertion of a force of predetermined magnitude thereagainst to thereby allow unimpeded passenger egress between the adjoining vehicle cabin sections.

Airflow control devices are provided that may be employed in passenger transport vehicles (e.g., passenger transport aircraft, trains, buses, automobiles and the like) that allow individual passengers to selectively control direction and volume of incoming airflow to thereby enhance passenger comfort. According to certain embodiments, passenger airflow control devices are provided with an open-ended domed shell, a receiver immovably fixed to an upper end of the shell and a central air distributor assembly operatively connected to the receiver for receiving an incoming airflow and discharging the airflow to a passenger. The central air distributor assembly may include a central distributor bowl which defines a laterally oriented airflow discharge opening, a central disk which is positionally fixed to and closes a lower end of the central distributor bowl, and an air distributor hub having a lower end immovably connected to an upper end of the central distributor bowl and an upper stem having an air inlet cutout which is received within and rotatably connected to the receiver.

Passenger interface units include individual passenger modules having co-located controls for passenger comfort and entertainment systems. The modules will include a glass panel having front and rear surfaces, a structural support panel bonded to the rear surface of the glass panel and a light-emitting unit supported by the support panel behind the rear surface of the glass panel. The rear surface of the glass panel may include an opaque printed coating layer having at least one unpainted region that is transparent to visible light emitted by the light-emitting unit thereby allowing the visible light to be transmitted through the glass panel and visible at the front surface thereof.

Adaptive, self-adjusting decorative trim assemblies are especially adapted for use in aircraft cabin interiors where the fuselage undergoes deformation and/or distortion due to pressurization during flight. The self-adjusting features of the decorative trim assemblies according to the embodiments described herein thus allow for relative movement between mutually intersecting interior cabin panels without jeopardizing the cabin interior aesthetics (e.g., since the relative positioning of the panels is not disrupted by virtue of such fuselage deformations).
