A human-machine interface for displaying an intuitive and accurate graphic representation for assisting in take-off or landing, based on a fully autonomous system essentially using only images captured by embedded cameras and data from avionics systems of the aircraft, the graphic representation including indicators based on a processing of a stream of images taken by embedded cameras and comprising a representation of a runway straight line indicative of the central longitudinal axis of the runway and of at least one deviation indicator representative of the difference between the longitudinal axis of the aircraft and the central longitudinal axis of the runway.

Human-machine interface of an aircraft in take-off or landing phase

The display system for an aircraft cockpit comprises a display computer configured to control the display, on a display device worn rigidly attached to a user's head, according to a first display mode comprising at least one piece of flight assistance information for the aircraft, and a masking device, associated with a cockpit side window, controllable between a transparent and opaque states. The display system comprises an extended display mode, in which the display computer is configured to determine whether a direction corresponding to the user's head orientation has an intersection with a region of interest of the side window, in the absence of an intersection, controlling the display according to the first display mode, and when there is an intersection, controlling the masking device opaque state and controlling the display according to a second display mode comprising a virtual display screen on a side window display area.

Display system and method for an aircraft

The display system for a cockpit of an aircraft comprises a transparent display device and a display computer. The transparent display device includes a brightness masking device that can be commanded according to at least three predetermined levels of opacity in at least four masking independent zones. The display system includes a brightness sensor. The display computer is configured to determine a level of brightness due to the light source, in display zones corresponding to each of the masking zones, depending on information coming from the brightness sensor; determine an opacity level associated with each of the masking zones, depending on the brightness level determined, such that a higher level of opacity corresponds to a higher level of brightness; and command the opacity level in each of the masking zones of the brightness masking device.

Display system of an aircraft

A display system for a cockpit of an aircraft comprises a display device configured to be secured to a user's head in the cockpit of the aircraft. A display computer is configured to control the display of information on the display device. The display computer is configured to determine a distance between the head of the user and an element of the cockpit intersecting with a direction corresponding to a current orientation of the head of the user, when the user looks inside the cockpit, and to control a virtual display distance of the display device, corresponding to the distance between the head of the user and the element of the cockpit.

A display system for an aircraft cockpit comprises a display device configured to be secured to a user's head, a sensor to determine an orientation of the user's head, and a display computer. The computer is configured to control the display of information relating to the flight of the aircraft on the display device, to acquire information on the user's head orientation, to determine an angular offset value between a direction corresponding to the head orientation and a longitudinal axis of the aircraft, to evaluate at least one condition as a function of the angular offset value, and to control the display device display in accordance with a first display mode when the condition is verified, this first display mode corresponding to a display comprising at least one aircraft piloting assistance symbol displayed in a conforming manner, and another display mode when the condition is not verified.

Display System and method for an aircraft

A method for displaying an outside scene on a cockpit display system. The system comprises two display areas contiguous along a horizontal aircraft axis and a processor to generate the display, on one of the areas, of an initial scene image from data from the aircraft's avionics electronics, the data comprising the aircraft's sideslip angle &#x3b2;. The processor displays, on the scene image, a flight path vector indicating a point on the scene image towards which the aircraft is heading. When the measured angle &#x3b2; exceeds a threshold, the processor displays the initial scene image on a first display area and the display of a supplementary outside scene image, on a second display area, the supplementary scene image representing a lateral extension of the initial scene image. The processor also displays the flight path vector superimposed on one of the two images based on a value of angle &#x3b2;.

Method for displaying an image of a scene outside of an aircraft in an augmented reality context

An aircraft cockpit comprises a head-up display device comprising a projector and a screen, the screen being placed facing a pilot along a theoretical line of sight of the pilot. The projector is fixed to a side wall of the cockpit, the screen forming a non-zero angle of inclination relative to a plane perpendicular to the theoretical line of sight of the pilot.

A method for controlling the piloting of an aircraft comprising the steps of receiving at least one first instruction for modification of a current velocity vector of the aircraft, determining a target velocity vector of the aircraft, on the basis of said at least one first instruction received, and determining, on the basis at least of said target velocity vector, at least one actuation command intended for at least one actuator of the aircraft in order to modify the movement of the aircraft according to said at least one first instruction received.
