A method of treating skin is disclosed. The method includes topically applying to the skin a composition comprising 0.0001 wt. % to 5 wt. % of a kakadu plum fruit extract, and 0.0001 wt. % to 5 wt. % of an acai berry fruit extract.

Compositions comprising kakadu plum extract or acai berry extract

A method of treating skin in need thereof is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin a composition consisting of kakadu plum extract, glycerin, water, and optionally alcohol.

A topical skin care composition comprising kakadu plum extract or acai berry extract, or a combination of both, is disclosed. The composition can include a high oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) value. The composition can improve the skin's visual appearance, physiological functions, clinical properties, and/or biophysical properties.

Topical compositions comprising acai berry extract

A method of reducing inflammation in skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to skin in need thereof a composition comprising 0.001 wt. % to 5 wt. % of a kakadu plum fruit extract to reduce TNF-&#x3b1; production in human epidermal keratinocytes of the skin, and 0.001 wt. % to 5 wt. % of an acai berry fruit extract to reduce TNF-&#x3b1; production in human epidermal keratinocytes of the skin, wherein topical application of the composition reduces inflammation in the skin.

A method of reducing TNF-&#x3b1; production in human epidermal keratinocytes, the method comprising topically applying to skin in need thereof a composition comprising an effective amount of a liquid kakadu plum extract comprising kakadu plum fruit, alcohol, and butylene glycol to reduce TNF-&#x3b1; production in human epidermal keratinocytes of the skin, and an effective amount of a liquid acai berry extract comprising acai berry fruit, water, and alcohol to reduce TNF-&#x3b1; production in human epidermal keratinocytes of the skin.
