The invention relates to vesicles comprising Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), a cationic surfactant and cholesterol or derivatives thereof. The invention also discloses a procedure for their preparation, based on compressed fluid technology (CFs). The vesicles of the invention are useful in the manufacture of drugs and cosmetics and in tissue engineering.

Vesicles comprising epidermal growth factor and compositions thereof

The invention relates to conjugates in which a sterol is functionalized by an ether bond with a water-soluble polymer to which a guiding ligand is bound. These conjugates improve the physico-chemical and delivery properties of their carrying vesicles, making these more stable, homogeneous and effective. A method for their preparation, a pharmaceutical composition containing said liposomes, and their therapeutic use are described as well.

Functionalized liposomes useful for the delivery of bioactive compounds

The invention provides a novel method for obtaining solid micro- or nanoparticles with a homogeneous structure. A method is provided for obtaining solid micro- or nanoparticles with a homogeneous structure having a particle size of less than 10 &#x3bc;m where the processed solid compound has the natural, crystalline, amorphous, polymorphic and other features associated with the starting compound. In accordance with the invention a method which also makes it possible to obtain solid micro- or nanoparticles with a substantially spheroidal morphology is provided.
