The present invention relates to a non-invasive positioning system for screwing and fixing a bone, where a intramedullary nail is inserted to marrow of the bone, and the intramedullary nail comprises a wall and at least one through-hole through the wall for screwing and fixing by at least one corresponding set screw, the system comprises: an in vitro locator having at least one light source to emit a laser with a wavelength to the muscle tissue to form an incident light and running through the muscle tissue and the bone to form a penetrated light, an optical holder having an optical lens and a positioning ring portion for removably disposing the optical lens, wherein the focusing spot of the incident light, the focusing spot of the penetrated light, and the at least one through-hole are aligned in a line to confirm a linear position for screwing and fixing the intramedullary nail.

Non-invasive positioning system and method for screwing and fixing a bone

A bone nail apparatus includes a bone nail, a light source unit and a focalizing unit. The bone nail has a tube wall and at least one through hole. The tube wall is enclosed to form a receiving space. The at least one through hole extends through the tube wall and communicates with the receiving space. The light source unit includes a light emitter and at least one light transmission tube. The at least one light transmission tube is connected to the light emitter and receives a light therefrom. The at least one light transmission tube is received in the receiving space of the bone nail. Each light transmission tube has a light-outputting end aligned with a respective one of the at least one through hole. The focalizing unit has a light-receiving face facing one of the at least one through hole.

Bone nail apparatus

An acousto-optic crystal optical waveguide is applicable to an acoustic wave sensor for sensing acoustic wave, wherein the acousto-optic crystal optical waveguide includes an acousto-optic crystal core and an inner cladding layer covering the acousto-optic crystal core. The acoustic wave is able to change the refraction index of the acousto-optical crystal optical waveguide to make a light beam with specific wavelength refracting to outside of the acousto-optic crystal waveguide when a light beam transmits through the acousto-optic crystal optical waveguide. Objective of acoustic wave sensing is achieved by detecting wavelength and intensity variation of the light beam transmits through the acousto-optic crystal optical waveguide.

Acousto-optic crystal optical waveguide and acoustic wave sensor having the same

A method for manufacturing an optical fiber includes melting an end of a crystal material and drawing the molten end of the crystal material to form a crystal filament. Conductive paint is coated on two surface sections of the crystal filament to form internal positive and negative electrodes not electrically connected to each other. The crystal filament is placed into a heat resistant tube that is heated until an outer layer of the crystal filament melts and adheres to an inner periphery of the heat resistant tube, with a center of the crystal filament remaining as a solid core. Conductive paint is adhered to two ends of the crystal filament to form external positive and negative electrodes electrically connected to the internal positive and negative electrodes, respectively. The optical fiber thus formed can serve as a photoelectric optical fiber for transmission of current signals.

A light emitting diode package module structure comprises a LED module received in a reflection cup, a light transmitting color conversion member disposed on an annular surface of the reflection cup, a stationary package sleeved on the reflection cup in such a manner that the press portion of the stationary package is pressed against the light transmitting color conversion member, and the stop portions of the positioning legs of the stationary package are positioned against the bottom of the reflection cup. In this way, the light transmitting color conversion member is fixed to the reflection cup by the stationary package without the use of adhesive agents, which consequently simplifies the packaging procedure and reduces the package cost.
