A method of manufacturing an electro-optical device stack () includes providing a multi-layered structure comprising an electro-optical layer () that contacts a charge injection layer () comprising an acidic compound (). A resist layer () is deposited onto the electro-optical layer () and comprises a cationically-crosslinkable resist material () that reacts adjacent breaches (12',13&#x2032;) in the electro-optical layer () by a cross-linking reaction. This reaction is induced by protons () from the charge injection layer () and results in covering of the breaches (12&#x2032;,13&#x2032;) with patches () comprising cross-linked resist material (). Parts of the resist material () that have not cross-linked are removed, whereas the remaining patches () provide electrical insulation between the charge injection layer () and a layer subsequently deposited onto the electro-optical layer ().

A system for producing a tangible object. The system has a space which can be filled with a fluid. A reference platform at least partially defines at least one side of the space. The system further has a phase-transformer which can form a layer of the object by selectively transforming the fluid into a solid in a predetermined area of the space. An actuator can separate the layer from the reference platform by moving the layer relative to the reference platform or vice versa. The system has a controller connected with an actuator control output to the actuator and/or with a transformer control output to the phase transformer. The controller can control the production of the object based on a determined value of the force exerted on the reference platform or the solid or of a parameter related to the force.

The invention relates to a method for printing a fluid material using a continuous jet printing technique, wherein the material is passed under pressure from a reservoir through a channel to at least one outflow opening of the channel, after which the material is passed through the outflow opening, whereby the pressure in at least a part of the channel upstream of the outflow opening is in the interval of 15-600 bars [&#x2261;15&#xb7;10to 600&#xb7;10Pa], and whereby the fluid material comprises a curable composition which comprises: a) a component A in an amount in the range of from 1-15 wt % which component A has a dielectric constant larger than 15 (at 0&#xb0; C.); b) an ionically dissolved lipophilic salt in an amount in the range of from 1-15 wt %, c) optionally (a) coating additive(s) in an amount of at most 10 wt %, and d) for the remaining part a liquid component B which comprises a curable monomer and/or a curable oligomer, which liquid component B has a low shear viscosity (at 22&#xb0; C.) in the range of from 50-1500 mPas, whereby liquid components A and B are compatible with each other, and all amounts are based upon total composition. The invention further relates to said curable composition and articles comprising said composition.
