A system for managing well production equipment, the system comprising a) an RFID tag reader associated with a production well within a production well field, said RFID tag reader being positioned to read RFID tags associated with well production equipment as the well production equipment is run into said production well; and b) a data processing unit in communication with said RFID tag reader associated with a production well.

System and methods for managing oil and gas production equipment

A liner assembly is used for a polished rod of a reciprocating pump movable through a stuffing box. A liner sleeve positions on the polished rod and has an external thread on its distal ends. Roots of the external thread increase in depth in the external circumferential surface along the length toward the distal end. A nut positions on the polished rod and has internal thread configured to thread to the external thread of the liner sleeve. A head positions on the polished rod. The head is configured to engage the polished (e.g., with clamping or fastening), and the head is configured to affix to the nut (e.g., with thread or with flanges and fasteners). A gasket positions on the polished rod between the nut and the head. The gasket is held between a nose of the nut and a smooth bore relief of the head or is held between reliefs on the nut and head.

Polished rod liner assembly

A downhole pump used for a reciprocating pump system includes a barrel coupling to a tubing string and having a standing valve and includes a plunger coupling to a rod string and having a traveling valve. One or both of the valves can include an assembly comprising a housing, an insert, a ball, and a seat. The insert allowing for flow therethrough defines a ball stop at one end has a ball passage at the other end. The insert positions in flow passage of the housing, and one of the ends engages a shoulder in the passage. The insert is secured in the flow passage with metallic material metallurgically affixed between at least a portion of the insert and the flow passage. For example, brazing material can be brazed at the end of the insert to metallurgically affix the insert in the passage. The ball is positioned in the insert, and the seat is positioned adjacent an end of the insert. The assembly is then incorporated into components of the pump.

Valve assembly for downhole pump of reciprocating pump system

A diversion connector is used for a downhole pump having a plunger and a barrel in a well. The diversion connector is useful in a sandy well having particulates. The plunger has an interior and is reciprocated by a rod relative to the barrel. The connector includes one or more bodies, such as a mandrel, attaching the rod to the plunger. The mandrel has a first exterior surface and defines a fluid passage communicating with the interior of the plunger. A sleeve is disposed on the first exterior surface and has an interior surface floating relative to the first exterior surface. The floating sleeve at least partially prevents particulate uphole of the plunger from passing in a gap between the plunger and the barrel.

Diversion plunger for reciprocating rod pump

An artificial lift system for a well has a surface unit and a subsurface pump. The surface unit reciprocates a rod in the well, and the pump disposed in a tubular in the well is actuated by the rod. A barrel of the pump has a standing valve restricting fluid passage out of the barrel. The plunger is reciprocally disposed in the barrel and has seals with the barrel. A traveling valve of the plunger uses a sleeve and a bob. The sleeve is movable relative to the bob to restrict fluid out of the plunger's interior through a variable gap relative to the bob and the sleeve. The filter is disposed on the plunger between the seals and separates the plunger's interior from an annulus between the plunger and the barrel. The filter restricts particulate in the interior from passing into the annulus.

Joystick cover

A covering attachment or joystick cover for attaching to a joystick of a game actuation device includes a cover body having a top layer and sides extending downward therefrom. The sides are adapted to surround an upper portion of the joystick. The cover body includes an opening formed between the sides to receive the upper portion of the joystick. The sides of the cover body have a portion extending radially inward in order to attach the cover body to the joystick. The cover body has a first hardness. The joystick cover includes a cover cap positioned over the top layer of the cover body that engages the cover body sides, and has a second hardness that is greater than the first hardness. The joystick cover can also include an image plate that is positioned between the cover cap and the cover body that is visible through the cover cap.
