A promotional apparatus includes a housing having first and second openings and an elongated slot formed therein. A first measuring tape is disposed within the housing, and is retractably extendable from the housing via the first opening. A second measuring tape is disposed within the housing. A first end of the second measuring tape is fixed to the housing and an opposite second end of the measuring tape is movable within the housing such that a portion of the second measuring tape between the first and second ends thereof extends from the housing via the second opening and forms a loop that is retractably expandable and that is configured to measure a circumference of an object. A goniometer is pivotably secured to the housing and is movable between a stored position and a plurality of operative positions that allow measurement of angles of movement of patient limbs, joints, etc.

There is disclosed an apparatus for concealing, connecting and organizing power cords and signal cables from multiple devices in an equipment installation comprising a compact enclosure for use on a desktop that has first and second interior side panels facing each other without obstruction across the floor of the enclosure, and a hinged, reinforced, load-bearing top lid. A plurality of AC power outlets is disposed on either or both of the first and second interior side panels and connected in a power circuit via an ON/OFF switch to a power supply cord. The power circuit includes circuits for suppressing interference and transients. The enclosure includes space for containing and plugging in compact power supply blocks and storage space between the first and second interior panels for connecting, organizing and storing excess lengths of the cords and cables.

An apparatus for determining a characteristic, such as body mass index number, for a person includes a housing having a panel with an edge portion, an intermediate portion, and a window formed in the intermediate portion. A member is movably secured to the housing and a peripheral portion of the member extends from the housing adjacent the panel edge portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a first characteristic is disposed on either the panel edge portion or the member peripheral portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a second characteristic is disposed on the other one of the panel edge portion or the member peripheral portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a third characteristic is disposed on the member and is viewable through the window. Movement of the member to align first indicia units with second indicia units causes display of third indicia units via the window.

Promotional apparatus for calculating characteristics of subjects using two input variables

Apparatus are provided that may be used, for example, by healthcare providers to educate patients and others on one or more particular pharmaceutical products. A promotional apparatus includes a housing, a support member that is configured to support articles suspended therefrom, and a display panel. The support member extends from the housing and is movable between a first position when not supporting an article and a second position when supporting an article. The display panel is operably coupled with the support member and is movable between a retracted, non-visible position within the housing when the support member is in the first position and an extended, visible position when the support member is in the second position. The display panel includes promotional indicia thereon.

A promotional writing instrument includes elongated first and second barrel portions. The second barrel portion is transparent and hollow and includes an open end and an opposite closed end. A fluid is disposed within the hollow second barrel portion and is viewable through the transparent second barrel portion. A plug seals the second barrel portion such that the fluid is prevented from escaping from the hollow second barrel portion. The plug is configured so as not to contact the inside surface of the first barrel portion even under flexure of the first and second barrel portions.

A clamping apparatus having a flexible sheet dispenser attached thereto is provided. The clamping apparatus includes a base member, an upper member pivotally attached to the base member, and a flexible sheet dispenser removably secured to the upper member. The flexible sheet dispenser includes a housing and a flexible sleeve containing one or more stacks of flexible sheets disposed within the housing. The flexible sleeve is configured to individually dispense flexible sheets from one or more stacks disposed within the flexible sleeve. The flexible sleeve comprises opposite edge portions that are engaged by retaining members in the housing such that the flexible sleeve is maintained in arcuate, face-to-face contacting relationship with the arcuate wall surface.

Promotional apparatus are provided that are configured to demonstrate to patients and others how one or more pharmaceutical products work within the human body (or within other living beings). The promotional apparatus includes a base and a display panel that is movably secured to the base for rotational movement about an axis between a substantially vertical display position and a substantially vertical non-display position. The display panel includes first and second sealed chambers in adjacent relationship. Each chamber includes a respective transparent front wall and a rear wall spaced apart from the front wall. The first sealed chamber is substantially filled with a first translucent fluid and the second sealed chamber is substantially filled with a second translucent fluid. A first set of objects is disposed within the first sealed chamber and are configured to ascend through the translucent fluid (i.e., each object is buoyant) when the display panel is rotated to a display position. A second set of objects is disposed within the second sealed chamber and are configured to descend through the translucent fluid within the second sealed chamber (i.e., each object is not buoyant) when the display panel is rotated to a display position.

Distinctive, promotional bag dispensing apparatus are provided that include a clamp and a clip configured to retain a plurality of plastic (or other) bags in stacked adjacent relationship. Each clamp includes a base member and a retaining member that is movably secured to the base member via hinges for pivotal movement about an axis thereof. A plurality of spaced-apart posts extend from the front surface adjacent the forward edge portion. Each clip has a U-shaped configuration with adjacent, spaced-apart first and second panels that are configured to receive and retain header portions of a plurality of bags in stacked adjacent relationship positioned therebetween. The first and second panels each comprise a plurality of spaced-apart apertures. The respective apertures in the first panel are aligned with the respective apertures in the second panel so as to removably receive the respective plurality of spaced-apart posts extending from the base member front surface therethrough such that the clip is removably secured to the clamp.
