A wall scanner that includes a housing, a plurality of sensors, a display, and a control section. The housing includes a handle portion and a body portion. The handle portion is adapted to receive a removable and rechargeable battery pack such as a high-voltage lithium-ion ('Li-Ion') battery pack. The body portion of the housing encloses the plurality of sensing devices, such as capacitive plate sensors for sensing the presence of a stud behind a surface, a D-coil sensor for identifying the presence of metal behind the surface, and a non-contact voltage sensor. The display is configured to display the location of an object behind the surface in real-time, the depth of an object behind the surface, and whether an object behind the surface is ferrous or non-ferrous. The control section includes actuation devices for controlling the functions and operations of the wall scanner, such as the scanning mode.

Wall scanner

A battery charger and a method of charging a battery pack. The battery charger may generally include a housing defining an opening, a tray defining a receptacle operable to receive a battery pack, the tray being movable through the opening between an open position, in which the receptacle is accessible, and a closed position, in which the receptacle is closed, and a locking member movable relative to the housing between an unlocked position, in which the tray is movable between the open position and the closed position, and a locked position, in which the tray is retained in the closed position.

Single cell battery charger

A transfer pump. The pump is for displacing fluid and may generally include a housing; a pump including an impeller, the pump being disposed within the housing for creating suction to draw the fluid through the impeller; a motor for driving the pump; a battery operable to power the motor; and a sensor for sensing current drawn by the motor. The motor may be deactivated when the current drawn by the motor reaches a predetermined current value for a predetermined amount of time.

Transfer pump

A modular vacuum system includes a first and second canister of different capacities that are configured to store debris. The modular vacuum system also includes first and second power heads that can be coupled to either the first or second canisters. The first and second power heads operate at different voltages that generate a first and second suction airflow. The first and second canisters store debris separated from the first and second suction airflow. The first and second canisters also store debris separated only from the first suction airflow.

Embodiments of the invention relate to a wall scanner that includes a housing, a plurality of sensors, a display, and a control section. The housing includes a handle portion and a body portion. A visual inspection device includes a housing, a handle coupled to the housing that is grasped by a user while the device is in use, and an articulating camera unit coupled to the housing. The articulating camera unit includes a flexible cable with a first end coupled to the housing and a second end, a camera coupled to the second end of the flexible cable and operable to transmit image data through the flexible cable, and an articulation mechanism operable to articulate the camera relative to the flexible cable. The articulation mechanism includes a mount that is removably coupled to the housing. The articulating camera unit further includes a means for securing the mount to the housing in a plurality of different orientations relative to the housing. The visual inspection device further includes a display unit coupled to the housing to display an image transmitted by the articulating camera unit.

Visual inspection device

A utility bag having a plurality of panels defining an interior and an exterior, the interior including a cavity configured to receive an item. The utility bag includes a heater element disposed in the cavity, a battery pack configured for electrical communication with the heater element for powering the heater element, and a controller removably coupled in selective electrical communication to the battery pack. The controller is shaped and sized to mechanically mate with the battery pack for electrical communication therewith.

Heated utility bag

A carrier assembly for a light includes a main housing having a first end, a second end, and a main axis extending between the first end and the second end. The carrier assembly also includes an extension member slidably coupled to the main housing for movement along the main axis between a retracted position and an extended position. The extension member is biased toward the retracted position. The carrier assembly further includes a wireform hook extending from the first end of the main housing. The wireform hook includes two legs coupled to the extension member for movement with the extension member. The carrier assembly also includes a bracket member coupled to the wireform hook. The bracket member includes a base material extending between the two legs of the wireform hook and a second material overlaying a portion of the base material. The second material is softer than the base material.
