A vehicle assembly can include a frame assembly, a grab bar assembly, a vehicle seat and a crossmember. The frame assembly can define a passenger area and include a left cage side member and a right cage side member. The grab bar assembly can include a left grab bar attached to and extending from the left cage side member and a right grab bar attached to and extending from the right cage side member. The crossmember can be connected to the vehicle seat so as to support the vehicle seat. The crossmember can have a center portion. The left grab bar can be attached to the crossmember at a first location of the crossmember. The right grab bar can be attached to the crossmember at a second location of the crossmember. The first location and the second location can be equally spaced from the center portion.

Vehicle assembly with grab bar and methods of making and using the same

A motor vehicle includes a frame body defining a cabin area and an engine area. The engine area is primarily accessible from the cabin area during installation of the engine assembly. A seat frame is removably attached to the frame body in the cabin area, and a seat assembly is removably attached to the seat frame. A method of installing the engine assembly during the assembly of the motor vehicle includes the steps of lowering the engine assembly into the cabin area of the frame body, moving the engine assembly along a longitudinal axis into the engine area of the frame body, lowering the engine assembly onto an engine mount in the engine area of the frame body, attaching the seat frame to the frame body in the cabin area, and attaching the seat assembly to the seat frame.

Removable seat frame for engine installation

A relay and a controller for the same are disclosed. The relay includes an isolated power supply configured to receive a voltage input and generate a voltage output based upon the voltage input, an isolator configured to receive an input signal and generate an isolated output signal based upon the input signal, at least one switch, and a driver in electrical communication with the isolated power supply, the isolator, and the at least one switch for controlling the at least one switch in response to the isolated output signal, wherein the driver receives the voltage output from the isolated power supply as an operating voltage. The controller is in signal communication with the isolator to generate and transmit the input signal thereto.
