A method for wirelessly connecting a first device with an external second device includes wirelessly communicating between the first device and the external second device. Based on the wireless communication, the first device causes displaying of a dynamic graphic pattern on a display of the external second device. The dynamic graphic pattern having a shape that changes over time. A camera of the first device receives the dynamic graphic pattern. The first device recognizes the dynamic graphic pattern associated with the external second device. Data is wirelessly transferred between the first device and the external second device based on the recognized dynamic graphic pattern.

Device pairing

A method for pairing a first device with a second device includes receiving, by the first device, a dynamic graphic pattern having a shape that changes over time. The dynamic graphic pattern being associated with the second device for pairing with the second device. The first device recognizes the dynamic graphic pattern associated with the second device. The second device is paired if the dynamic graphic pattern associated with the second device is recognized.

An electronic device includes an imaging device to capture image data. At least one processor is configured to: process the image data to determine whether the image data includes a graphic that changes over time, and pair the electronic device with a second electronic device in response to a determination that the image data includes the graphic that changes over time.

A system for facilitating a multi-user video chat session, wherein the system comprises multiple electronic client devices and a server. The server receives, from each client device, an information unit representing user activity at the client device. The server selects one or more information units based on measurements of user activity in the information units received. The server generates a combined video stream including said selected one or more information units, wherein the combined video stream is sent to at least one client device.

A method for device pairing including displaying at least one image having a first characteristic using a first application by a first electronic device. It is determined if the image is recognizable. If the image is determined to be recognizable, pairing the first electronic device with a second electronic device.
