A bonus device and method are set forth for gaming machines. The bonus device is configured as a two dimensional display or three dimensional object, such as a sphere, box, or football shape, which can be controlled to rotate, spin or move to display a bonus. The bonus device is embedded with display technology that allows the bonus amounts, to change upon certain conditions in the base game such as an increased number of credits wagered, combinations achieved in the base game, or other random occurrences.

A bonus device and method are set forth for gaining machines. The bonus device is embedded with display technology that allows the bonus amounts, to change upon certain conditions in the base game such as an increased number of credits wagered, combinations achieved in the base game, or other random occurrences.

A system for conducting gaming includes at least one gaming machine communicating with an award server. Optionally, the gaming machine communicates with the award server via a network server. A game is conducted at the gaming machine. A determination is made whether to issue an award from the award server. In an optional embodiment, the determination is random; in another optional embodiment, the determination is based on the outcome of the game. The award is issued from the award server, at least in part, based on data communicated between the gaming machine and the award server.

Gaming system and method of operation

A system includes a user device in communication with an award server. The user device executes a game application to earn a bonus award. However, the bonus award is not issued by the user device. Rather, the bonus award is stored at the award server. In one optional embodiment, the bonus award may be issued through a gaming device which receives the bonus award from the award server and executes a gambling game which may result in the issuance of the bonus award. Additionally or alternatively, the bonus award may be issued through a redemption device.

Method, system, and device for selecting and awarding bonus awards from an award server

A user device is programmed to display a game application outcome. Among the possible outcomes is at least one escrow award which may be earned through the game application but is not issued at the user device. When an escrow award is earned, it is stored at an award server, optionally in association with a player identifier. A gaming device includes a primary display for displaying a gambling game and an escrow display to display escrow awards retrieved from the award server (optionally in response to receipt of a player identifier). A gambling game is conducted and resolved. Through the course of conducting one or more gambling games, a determination is made whether an escrow award trigger has occurred and, if so, an escrow award is issued. Optionally, an escrow award is held at the escrow display until an escrow display refresh event.

Method, system, and device for conducting a gambling game to issue an escrow award

A system for conducting gaming includes at least one gaming machine communicating with an award server. Optionally, the gaming machine communicates with the award server via a network server. In an optional embodiment, the gaming machine includes a bonus selection apparatus with a bonus award display. Bonus award indicia are transmitted from the award server to the bonus selection apparatus, optionally via the gaming machine, for display at the bonus display. A game is conducted at the gaming machine. A determination is made whether a bonus trigger has occurred. In an optional embodiment, the bonus trigger is random; in another optional embodiment, the bonus trigger is based on the outcome of the game. A displayed bonus award indicium is selected in response to a bonus trigger and the bonus award associated with the selected bonus award indicium is issued.

A method for conducting a game includes defining at least one bonus selection event and at least one bonus award event. Play of a game is monitored for the occurrence of a bonus selection event. In response to a bonus selection event, a bonus selection apparatus is controlled to select one or more bonus award indicia. The bonus award indicia are stored and displayed at a bonus award escrow display. In response to a bonus award event, a bonus award associated with a bonus award indicia stored and displayed at the bonus award escrow display is issued to the player.

Gaming device and method of issuing a bonus award

A networked gaming system and method for offering interactive games with a theoretical return or payback to the player exceeding 100% of the amount wagered on the game over time by awarding the player with non-cash awards such as merchandise or services, or vouchers to purchase merchandise or services that have been purchased in bulk by the gaming website or game operator. The gaming system and method are offered and deployed on internet connected devices such as general purpose computing devices, tablet computers, mobile telephones, smartphones, personal computers and dedicated gaming devices such as an 'Xbox' or 'PSP.'

Networked games with theoretical return exceeding 100% and non-cash awards

One or more gaming machines include an incentive supply storage, along with at least one play incentive dispenser to deliver play incentives to a player at a gaming machine. Play of each gaming machine includes definition of at least one incentive qualifying event, resulting in dispensing a play incentive to a player. Optionally, some of the play incentives have substantially nominal value and some of the play incentives have non-nominal value. Incentive qualifying events may be random or based on outcomes generated during play of a gaming machine. Optionally, a play incentive may be dispensed along with issuance of a prize awarded through a game of chance. A prize award may be indicated by or on the play incentive, which may be awarded along with the play incentive. Optionally, the play incentives may be concealed in a packaging.

Method and device for delivering play incentives at a gaming machine

A method for conducting a card game includes defining a card template containing a plurality of card positions in the form of a geometric shape having at least two dimensions wherein the card positions in the card template are each assigned to at least one of two or more game hands. The player places a wager. Cards are randomly selected and arranged in the card positions of the card template. A player may opt to relocate the playing cards in the card template, such as by shifting the cards around the perimeter of the geometric shape. A final hand is formed for each game hand of the card template and the finals hands are rewarded according to a pay table. The present invention also includes a device for conducting such a method.
