Systems and methods disclosed provide for hay and forage workflow mapping. The system includes an agricultural vehicle, a sensor array, and a control system communicatively coupled to the agricultural vehicle. The sensor array includes one or more sensors that collect cutting data corresponding to a crop cutting operation, raking data corresponding to a crop raking operation, and gathering data corresponding to a crop gathering operation. The control system includes processing circuitry. The system receives the cutting data and generates a cutting map therefrom. Using the cutting map, the system generates a proposed raking path for the crop raking operation. The system also receives the raking data and generates a raking map therefrom. Using the raking map, the system generates a proposed gathering path for the crop gathering operation. Additionally, the system receives the gathering data and generates a gathering map therefrom. Successive proposed paths are generated from previously generated mappings.

Systems and methods for hay and forage workflow mapping

An agricultural mower system includes a towing vehicle and a mower. The towing vehicle has a tongue coupler. The mower includes a tongue pivotably coupled to the tongue coupler so the mower is on a first side of a towing centerline. A towing angle is defined with respect to the towing centerline. A tongue actuator is coupled to the tongue to pivot the tongue. A towing angle sensor outputs a towing angle signal. A controller is configured to: (i) determine the towing vehicle has initiated an end-of-row turning operation; and (ii) output an adjustment signal to the tongue actuator responsively to determining the end-of-row turning operation has initiated so the tongue actuator moves the tongue such that the mower defines the towing angle on a second side of the towing centerline by a conclusion of the end-of-row turning operation.

A pickup unit of an agricultural baler that includes a frame, at least one draper belt, at least one belt actuator operably connected to the at least one draper belt, a first auger and a second auger each being rotatably connected to the frame and located above the at least one draper belt, and a first and a second auger actuator respectively operably connected to the first and second auger. The pickup unit also includes an electrical processing circuit operably connected to and configured for adjusting the at least one belt actuator, the first auger actuator, and the second auger actuator so that a rotational speed of the at least one draper belt, the first auger, and/or the second auger is increased or decreased to evenly distribute the crop material as the crop material is transported to the bale chamber.

A vehicle includes a frame, a tractive element coupled to the frame, a prime mover coupled to the frame and configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle, and a silage compactor. The silage compactor includes a wheel rotatably coupled to the frame and positioned to engage silage positioned below the frame, a vibrator coupled to the wheel and configured to cause the wheel to vibrate, and a controller configured to control the vibrator to vibrate the wheel while the wheel is in contact with the silage to compress the silage.

A feeder unit for an agricultural baler includes: a first rotor including a plurality of first extensions extending therefrom, the first rotor being configured to rotate about a first axis of rotation at a first rotation speed; and a second rotor arranged in parallel with the first rotor relative to the axis of rotation and including a plurality of second extensions extending therefrom that intermesh with the plurality of first extensions, the second rotor being configured to rotate about a second axis of rotation at a second rotation speed that is different from the first rotation speed.

In one aspect, an air intake system for supplying air to an engine of a work vehicle may include a cooler box having a first wall and a second wall, with the first and second walls at least partially defining a chamber within the cooler box. The air intake system may also include a screen defining at least a portion of the first wall of the cooler box. Furthermore, the air intake system may include an air filter assembly defining at least a portion of the second wall of the cooler box. The air filter assembly may be configured to remove particles present in the air exiting the chamber of the cooler box through the air filter assembly. The air exiting the cooler box through the air filter assembly may be supplied to the engine for combustion.

A system and method for conveying agricultural material in a harvester. One harvester includes a rotor which rotates to separate a plant into a first agricultural material and a second agricultural material. A grate is disposed vertically below the rotor and further separates the first and second agricultural materials from one another. A first conveyor receives the first and second agricultural material directly from a trailing end of the rotor and a trailing end of the grate.

An unloading system for an agricultural harvesting machine for reducing grain loss by detaining a grain saver door after movement to a fully open position during the unloading process, and by rapidly returning the door to a closed position with sufficient force for urging grain in the door area back into an unloading tube a predetermined time after the unloading process pauses or ceases. The system can advantageously detain the door in the open position in the presence of varying or reduced amounts of grain for increasing consistency and cohesiveness in the flow discharging grain and reduce the amount of grain remaining near a discharge end of the unloading tube when the door is in the closed position.
