A multiple wired input/output device provides generated battery or regulated voltage outputs with adjustable turn-on and turn-off timing with sequence priority to engine running status. Separate aftermarket audio components, or a combination of aftermarket audio and non-audio related components are activated and deactivated in appropriate order for a variety of installation applications. One or more switched battery voltage inputs override the sequence priority of generated battery or regulated voltage output(s) in relation to engine running status, order or duration.

Ignition-remote output generator with adjustable delays and battery isolation control

A signal processor delay input device with one or more signal inputs and one or more signal outputs includes a first multi-position switch and a second multi-position switch. A first value representative of an input state of the first multi-position switch corresponds to a first increment of a time delay applied to a signal that is being passed from a first one of the one or more signal inputs to a first one of the one or more signal outputs. A second value representative of an input state of the second multi-position switch corresponds to a second increment of the time delay applied to the signal being passed from the first one of the one or more signal inputs to the first one of the one or more signal outputs.

A locking system for a firearm is disclosed. A lock has a set state and an unset state, and substantial movement of any one or more fire control group components is inhibited with in the set state. A biometric sensor attachable to a grip of the firearm is receptive to an input biometric feature data set corresponding to a physiological feature of a user. A biometric input controller stores biometric feature data sets corresponding to enrolled user identities in a memory, and compares it against the input biometric feature data set to generate a biometric input validation status indicator signal. A proximity sensor attachable to the grip detects possession of the firearm by the user and generates a corresponding grip detection indicator signal. A system controller selectively actuates the lock to the set state and the unset state based upon a received combination and sequence of the biometric input validation status indicator signal and the grip detection indicator signal.

Firearm locking system user interface

A lock for a firearm is disclosed. The firearm has a grip safety and a sear engageable to a biased hammer in a cocked position and releasable by a trigger. The lock includes a housing defining a bore within which a mainspring biasing the hammer is revived. A latch is rotatably mounted to the housing and has a grip safety arm and a cam follower, and has a first rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in engagement with and restricting the grip safety to block movement of the trigger, and an opposed second rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in disengagement from the grip safety to unblock depression of the grip safety and movement of the trigger. An actuator is mounted to the housing and cooperatively linked to the latch, and provides motive force for positioning the larch in the first rotational excursion and the second rotational excursion.

Firearm safety lock with key-based override

A method and apparatus for automatic gain control of an amplifier in which the method and apparatus detects excessive increase in the sound volume or temperature rise in the audio system and reduces the gain of the amplifier by various means. Each gain control circuit has a comparator to compare a signal with threshold values and an integrator to integrate output signals of the comparator with respect to a predetermined time length to reduce a gain of the amplifier. The method and apparatus conducts dynamic suppressing of excess signals and thereby controlling output level of the amplifier at multiple stages without immediately shutting down the audio system. In the case where the sound volume increases to a degree that may damage the amplifier or speaker, a shutdown signal is generated to shutdown the operation of the whole system.

A lock for a firearm with a grip safety, and a sear engageable to a biased hammer in a cocked position and releasable by a trigger is disclosed. The lock has a housing defining a first bore within which a mainspring that biases the hammer is received, as well as a second bore. There is a locking pin retractable into and extendible out of the second bore of the housing. When the locking pin is in an extended position, the grip safety is restricted to an engaged state, blocking movement of the trigger. An actuator disposed in the housing and cooperatively linked to the locking pin provides the motive force for retracting and extending the locking pin.

Firearm safety lock

An elastically deformable suspension member for use in a speaker to establish a sufficient support to a cone is disclosed. The suspension member has an inner diameter portion for mounting the cone, an outer diameter portion spaced around the inner diameter portion for fastening to a basket, a first annular convex surface portion concentrically arranged between the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion and constituting a summit, and a number of second annular convex surface portions symmetrically arranged at two opposite lateral sides of the first annular convex surface portion between the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion and respectively constituting summit ridges having a height below the summit and above the elevations of the inner diameter portion and the outer diameter portion.

A thermal management system improves thermal property of the speaker system by promoting air circulation to cool the speaker system. The thermal management system includes a speaker frame, an air guide formed on the speaker frame for guiding the air, a ventilation slit formed on the air guide which penetrates through the speaker frame for air communication, and a spider mounting ring for mounting a spider of the speaker system on the speaker frame. The spider mounting ring has a cut-out at its upper edge which positionally match the air guide. The cut-out is curved sharply at its upper surface while a lower edge of the spider mounting ring is gently curved, thereby creating an air passage of directional property.

A speaker grille attachment system for a loudspeaker securely and easily attaches a speaker grille to the speaker as well as attains an improved aesthetic effect by hiding components used for the attachment. The attachment system includes a plurality of fastening members, a plurality of clamp hole pieces each having a hole for inserting the fastening member therethrough, a plurality of openings formed on an outer rim of the speaker grille, a speaker gasket having a plurality of openings each receiving the clamp hole piece and the fastening member, a speaker frame or cabinet having a plurality of fastening means for attaching the speaker grille, and a cover member for covering an area of the outer rim of the speaker grille thereby making the components for the attachment invisible.

Speaker grille attachment system

A thermal management system promotes cooling effects of a loudspeaker. The thermal management system includes an internal heat sink having a tubular shape and mounted between a pole piece and a magnet of the loudspeaker, the internal heat sink having pleat portions to form a plurality of air passages on an inner surface from top to bottom thereof; and a back plate connected to the pole piece and having ventilation holes that vertically penetrate through the back plate, the internal heat sink and the magnet being mounted on the back plate. A lower end of the air passage on the internal heat sink is positionally matched with an upper opening of the ventilation hole on the back plate, thereby allowing an air flow through the air passage and the ventilation hole.

A loudspeaker has a cooling system in which a pole piece has a shorting ring made of non-magnetic conductive material that stabilizes magnetic field to reduce distortion of sound and a heat dissipation plate that couples to the shorting ring to facilitate efficient dissipation of heat. The heat generated by a voice coil of the loudspeaker is transmitted to the shorting ring and is conducted to the heat dissipation plate which acts as a heat sink to allow the heat dissipation. A multiplicity of shorting rings may be provided to further reduce impedance modulation, each of which is coupled to the heat dissipation plate. The heat dissipation plate has a gap in an axial direction of the loudspeaker to prevent an electric current in the shorting ring from flowing through the heat dissipation plate.

A voltage supply for a vehicle power amplifier having an audio property compensation function. The voltage supply includes means for setting the voltage supply to a first mode when its power is turned on, means for setting the voltage supply to a second mode when its power is tuned on after setting on/off operation of compensation functions and associated adjustment values in the first mode and turning the power off, and a memory for storing information that determines either the first mode or the second mode when the device power is turned on. The first mode is to supply voltage only to a unit for setting the compensation functions and values, and the second mode is to supply power to the entire vehicle power amplifier.

A loudspeaker having an improved air cooling system. The loudspeaker includes a speaker frame, a diaphragm connected to the speaker frame, a voice coil which is formed on a voice coil bobbin and is connected to the diaphragm for vibrating the diaphragm, a permanent magnet having a central opening, a pole piece disposed coaxially within the central opening of the permanent magnet to form an air gap into which the voice coil is disposed, and a heat transfer plate disposed over the permanent magnet. The heat transfer plate has a plurality of cooling fins which are radially outwardly extending toward an outer rim thereof and inner and outer air openings on the outer rim. The outer rim has a step like shape in cross section and has a flat upper surface which is higher than top ends of the cooling fins. The vibration of the diaphragm produces air flows through air passages on the heat transfer plate between the inside and outside of the loudspeaker.

A loudspeaker having an improved acoustic performance achieved by low distortion and high output power. The loudspeaker includes a speaker frame, a diaphragm connected to the speaker frame, a voice coil which is formed on a voice coil bobbin and is connected to the diaphragm for vibrating the diaphragm, a permanent magnet having a central opening, and a pole piece disposed coaxially within the central opening of the permanent magnet to form an air gap into which the voice coil is disposed. The top area of the through hole of the pole piece is curved with an S-shape in cross section and an inner diameter of the through hole is increased toward the inner top thereof.
