Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for generating a quantified indicator of cognitive skills in an individual. In certain configurations, the apparatus, systems, and methods can be implemented for enhancing cognitive skills in an individual.

Cognitive platform including computerized elements

A cognitive platform is disclosed that is configured for either or both of assessing or enhancing the cognitive abilities of an individual based on implementing one or more navigation task(s) in an environment. A first task is rendered that requires the individual to rely on allocentric navigation capabilities to navigate in the environment based on a first set of views of portions of the environment rendered at the user interface. A second task is rendered that requires the individual to rely on egocentric navigation capabilities to navigate in the environment. An indication of a cognitive ability in the individual can be generated based on the difference in the individual's performance at the first task as compared to the second task.

Platform for identification of biomarkers using navigation tasks and treatments using navigation tasks

Example systems, methods, and apparatus, including cognitive platforms, are provided for computing performance metrics of an individual based at least in part on user interaction(s) with computerized tasks and/or interference and at least one physiological measure of the individual, where the performance metric provides an indication of the cognitive abilities of the individual. The apparatus can be coupled to at least one physiological component to perform the physiological measurement of the individual. The apparatus also can be configured to adapt the tasks and/or interferences to enhance the individual's cognitive abilities.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a system and method for using facial recognition and mimicry workflows to train cognitive and emotional empathy. The system and methods comprise the use of physiological measurements (e.g., EEG, etc.) in combinations with facial recognition to detect user affect and modify one or more cognitive screening instruments to further promote a user affect. One or more specific emotions associated with one or more specific negative cognitive bias are targeted to influence affect. One or more specific psychopathology may be treated using an emotional recognition training component within a computerized cognitive-bias modification regimen. The regimen may comprise the identification, targeting, and modification of emotions and may utilize one or more facial inputs, cognitive tasks, facial recognition and facial mimicry protocols to adaptively modify one or more attributes of one or more computerized stimuli or interactions within a computerized platform or platform-product.
