An intelligent door lock system for a door at a dwelling. The intelligent door lock system includes a door status device is at the dwelling, an engine, an energy source, a memory, and a camera. The door status device is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the door status device and includes a bolt. The engine, the energy source, and the memory are coupled together. The camera is configured to record in response to door lock status.

A system provides for locking or unlocking a lock at a door of an intelligent door lock system at a dwelling by a designated dwelling user. An intelligent door lock system includes a remotely operable lock at a dwelling accessible by a user and a server in communication with the intelligent door lock system. A user mobile device is in communication with the server. The user mobile device includes an App that provides for locking and/or unlocking of the lock of the intelligent door lock system. The user communicates with the server using the user's mobile device, and the server is configured to process the user crossings one or more geo-locations relative to the dwelling and create a data set that is stored in a database.

The intelligent door lock system includes: a drive shaft, a circuit coupled to an engine configured to cause a rotation of the drive shaft, and an energy source coupled to the drive shaft. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked.

A security system is configured to be coupled to the intelligent door lock system. The security system includes a video apparatus that captures video is coupled to a motion detection device to take a video of an image of the person or an outline of the person. The video apparatus is configured to provide communication with a communication device of the third party. In response to a communication with the video apparatus and the communication device of the third party, the third party is granted controlled access to the dwelling.

One or more wireless bridges include a computing device, an internet-facing radio, and a second radio, a first radio within communication range of the second radio of the wireless bridge, and a third internet-facing radio responsible for transmitting video. In a first step the motion detection device detects motion of an individual approaching a dwelling, and in a second step if the motion detector detects the approach then the camera is turned on in sufficient time to take a face or body picture of the individual.
