A pressure measuring device/system that is capable of measuring the pressures of multiple systems in an automobile, including fuel pressure, power steering, engine oil pressure, transmission oil pressure, compression, diesel compression, high pressure oil systems, and diesel fuel pressure, and is capable of displaying and/or recording the measured pressure values. An onboard digital display receives a series of signals from a transducer and displays the series of signals as at least one of a digital needle gauge and a live graph display, and selectively displays the series of signals in a chart with two axes, one for signal and one for time.

Testing system for measuring target operational parameters of a motor vehicle

A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed. One of the pressure plates is reversible to change the minimum narrow gap from a first width to a second width. In each of the orientations, the plates are movable towards and away from one another.

The interface may be configured to be included within the device purpose built for displaying and interacting with the pressure values measured by the sensor. An adjustable holding tool is provided for servicing a fan clutch assembly removably attached to a shaft of a water pump having a pulley associated therewith. A holding tool is comprised of a first plate holder including a first adjustment leg joined to a first attachment leg having a first longitudinal axis and a first attachment structure. A second plate holder includes a second adjustment leg joined to a second attachment leg having a second longitudinal axis and second attachment structure. The first and second plate holders are slidably connected together to provide a continuous variable spacing between the first and second adjustment legs while maintaining a parallel relationship between the first and second longitudinal axes.
