A server computer determines that an application of a plurality of applications in a cloud subscribes to an event with respect to a plurality of attributes of event data. The server computer, responsive to determining that at least one of the plurality of attributes has changed, executes the application workflow and sends a notification to the application, the notification indicating that at least one of the plurality of attributes has changed.

Event notification

A system and method for managing images in a cloud including providing a uniform image management interface for receiving from a user uniform image descriptions for building images in a cloud, and receiving a uniform image description for building an image from the user. The uniform image description is provided to an application to create a cloud-specific image description to provide to an image builder for building the image, and the uniform image description is stored in a local data store.

Image management in cloud environments

A server computer detects an event relating to a plurality of objects in a cloud. The server computer logs event data based on the event in a data store. The server computer examines subscription data to identify applications subscribing to the detected event, wherein the applications are executing in the cloud, and provides event data to the identified applications in the cloud.

A method and apparatus for dividing resources provided by cloud computing systems is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a specification of a subset of cloud computing systems from among a plurality of cloud computing systems. Furthermore, the method may include routing the request to the determined cloud computing system to initiate the cloud computing session.

A method and apparatus for providing a cloud computing graphical user interface is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a request to display an aggregate of cloud computing system resources of different cloud computing systems. The method may also include rendering a visual summary of aggregated cloud computing system resources, wherein the aggregated cloud computing system resources include at least one cloud computing system pool.

System and method for providing a cloud computing graphical user interface

An embodiment relates generally to a method of searching. The method includes providing for a knowledgebase item and associating a review for the knowledgebase item. The method also includes associating a rating for the knowledgebase item and developing a ranking associated with the knowledgebase item based on at least one the review and the rating. The method further includes displaying the knowledgebase item based on the ranking in subsequent searches that include the knowledgebase item.
