A battery system for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The battery system includes a tray having a plurality of battery receptacles. A plurality of batteries are also provided, each battery in the plurality of batteries being received in a battery receptacle. A conductive layer in electrical communication with the plurality of batteries and a terminal for electrically coupling to a vehicle are also provided in the battery system. A cover interlocks with the tray. The cover carries a computer and a diagnostic identification system for the plurality of batteries. A housing for a battery system and a vehicle including a battery system are also disclosed.

A console assembly configured for use in a passenger seating of a vehicle includes a lower console module extending generally horizontally adjacent a floor of the passenger seating area and an upper console module disposed adjacent and operatively connected to the lower console module. The upper console module is adjustable between at least a first position adjacent a top surface of the lower console module and a second position adjacent a rear surface of the lower console module.

Console assembly for a vehicle

A console assembly for use in a passenger seating area of a vehicle includes a console housing having a storage area defined therein. An armrest is pivotally connected to the console housing and is movable between a first position extending at least partially over a top surface of the console housing and at least one second position. The armrest includes a closeout section, a receiving portion operatively connected to the closeout section and a console lid slidably connected to the receiving portion. A console accessory tray is adjustably positioned adjacent the console housing between a stored position and a deployed position extending rearward of the console housing. The console accessory tray includes a display surface accessible to occupants in a rear portion of the passenger seating area.

A console assembly for use in a passenger seating area of a vehicle includes a base securable to a floor of the passenger seating area and a support structure mounted to the vehicle floor cooperating with the base. One or more storage modules are disposed adjacent to the base and include or define a storage area to provide additional storage in the passenger seating area. One or more trays are pivotally connected to base adjacent the one or more storage modules and are movable between a first position extending generally parallel to the vehicle floor and at least one second position extending generally perpendicular to the floor.

A control panel assembly for a vehicle includes a moveable panel having a primary face and an edge face. The moveable panel movable between a first position and a second position. A first control device is mounted on the primary face of the moveable panel. The first control device is generally exposed when the moveable panel is in the first position. A second control device is mounted on the edge face of the moveable panel. The second control device is generally exposed when the moveable panel is in the second position.
