A panel adjustment assembly for a panel of a vehicle includes a first bracket fixedly coupled to the panel. The first bracket includes a first receiving opening coaxial with a first longitudinal axis. A second bracket has a second longitudinal axis and a channel coaxial with the first longitudinal axis and a second receiving opening coaxial with the second longitudinal axis. A first adjuster coaxial with the first longitudinal axis is coupled through the second bracket and into the first receiving opening in the first bracket, said first adjuster adjusting a first gap between the first bracket and the second bracket. A second adjuster is disposed within the receiving channel and partially within the second bracket. The second adjuster has a locating pin extending therefrom and is received within the vehicle. The second adjuster adjusts a second gap between the vehicle and the second bracket.

Removable adjustable panel locating brackets

A vehicle includes a body having a wall extending cross-vehicle and having an upper edge defining a roller surface with at least one locator aperture, a structural frame at least partially defining a rear window opening with the wall, and a removable rear window assembly configured for removable coupling with the vehicle. The removable rear window assembly includes at least one rolling locator assembly configured to roll across the roller surface to support at least a portion of a weight of the rear window assembly to facilitate assisting a user with installing and/or removing the rear window assembly into or out of the rear window opening.

Removable rear window assembly

A multi-component door assembly for a vehicle includes a lower door portion rotatably coupled to a body of the vehicle and including at least one receiving aperture defined therein, and an upper door portion selectively removable from the lower door portion and including at least one post configured to be received within the at least one receiving aperture for removably coupling the upper door portion to the lower door portion. At least one trim cap is configured to selectively cover and conceal the at least one receiving aperture.

Vehicle half door assemblies

In at least some implementations, a vehicle door includes a first section having a first void, a second section having a first projection, a first intermediate member received within the first void and having an inner surface that defines an interior, wherein the first projection is received within the interior, and a first coupler coupled to the first projection. The interior of the first intermediate member has at least a portion that is larger than the portion of the first projection received within that portion of the interior to permit movement of the first projection relative to the intermediate member. The first coupler is coupled to the intermediate member to maintain the position of the first projection relative to the first section. In this way, the position of the second section may be adjusted relative to the first section and the adjusted position can be maintained.

Adjustable vehicle door

A concealment system for a first vehicle component having a cutout and receiving aperture exposed by removal of a second component, includes a pre-insert configured to be inserted into the receiving aperture, and a filler insert having an outer surface and configured to be inserted into the cutout such that the outer surface of the filler insert is substantially flush with a visible outer surface of the vehicle component. The filler insert being inserted into and retained within the pre-insert.

Protection cushion concealment system for vehicle roll bar assembly

A rear SMC component is adhesively bonded to a central SMC component to form a cavity adjacent the rear wall that encloses a tapping plate. A reinforcing SMC component is adhesively bonded to the central SMC component with a rail portion against the top wall and a rear gusset portion against the rear wall. Conductive heaters are positioned directly against the surfaces on both sides of the adhesive for the rail portion but only on the interior side of the adhesive for the gusset portion, because the rear component blocks access thereto. As a result, the adhesive for the gusset portion is only partially cured by the heater. A gusset fastener is installed through the rear gusset portion and the rear wall and into the tapping plate to fixedly retain the rear gusset portion against the rear wall while this partially cured adhesive subsequently cures.

Method of assembling a SMC vehicle roof assembly

A support bracket assembly configured to couple to a vehicle body and support a collapsed articulating frame of a vehicle soft top assembly is provided. The support bracket assembly includes a support bracket having a main body portion having a slot formed therein and configured to couple to the vehicle body, and a receiving portion coupled to the main body portion and configured to receive at least a portion of the collapsed articulating frame therein. A strap is configured to be inserted through the slot and wrapped around the collapsed articulating frame to facilitate securing the collapsed articulating frame within the receiving portion and preventing relative movement of the collapsed articulating frame when the vehicle is in motion.

Vehicle soft top support bracket system

A detachable interior trim panel assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly includes an interior trim panel that has an inside surface, an outside surface, and a trim panel perimeter. The interior trim panel includes at least one finger and at least one spring snap that are positioned along the trim panel perimeter. The at least one finger and the at least one spring snap are configured to detachably retain the interior trim panel on a trim panel mounting location of the vehicle. The at least one finger extends outwardly from the trim panel perimeter and is sized to be received in at least one finger receptacle positioned along the trim panel mounting location and the at least one spring snap includes a moveable leg that is configured to engage at least one spring snap receptacle that is also positioned along the trim panel mounting location.
