A multi-device wireless charger may include a charging surface disposed onto a housing structure, wherein the housing structure includes coils or other induction generating features and other electronic components that enable wireless charging via electromagnetic induction. Further, the housing structure may also include adjustable securing features, such that the multi-device wireless charger may be adjusted to accommodate more than one type of wirelessly chargeable mobile device. In one example, the securing features may include a tambour sliding surface disposed over the charging surface, positionable via a protruding member. In another example, the securing features may include at least pairs of cooperating sliding armatures. In another example, the securing features may include at least two spring-loaded sliding mechanisms configured to interoperate with a stabilizing member via spring mechanisms. The method may involve adjusting the securing features and then securing the device.

Multi-device wireless devices, systems, and methods of use thereof

A vehicle collision warning system and method detects a rear-center area impending collision and a rear-lateral-corner area impending collision, and controls an operator alarm in one of a standard mode and a towing mode. In the standard mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide an alert to an operator when the rear-center area impending collision is detected and/or the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected. In the towing mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide the alert to the operator when the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected by the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision detection module, and to provide no alert to the operator when the rear-center impending collision is detected by the rear-center area impending collision detection module.

Vehicle collision warning system and method

A communication system for a vehicle that includes a near-field communication (NFC) antenna module mounted to a support structure of the vehicle. The communication system also includes a printed circuit board (PCB) that is disposed within the NFC antenna module. The communication system additionally includes a NFC transceiver that is disposed on the PCB. A vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a dielectric panel mounted to the vehicle frame, an antenna unit mounted on the dielectric panel, an electrically conductive bracket connected with the antenna unit, and a resilient ground plate connected with the bracket and the vehicle frame. The dielectric panel can be interposed between the antenna unit and the bracket. The resilient ground plate can facilitate grounding the antenna unit to the vehicle frame. The power management system can track one or more usage parameters to insure that electrical accessories or resources do not fully drain a battery and leave enough battery life to conduct at least one cold start. In some cases, the power management system can track one or more of the following usage parameters: the amount of time of one or more hands free telephone systems are used, the number of attempts to contact a computer, and/or the amount of time used to conduct wireless communications with a computer that is physically separate from the motor vehicle.

A system and method for transferring information to a motor vehicle is disclosed. The system and method can send music files from a computer to an on board unit associated with a motor vehicle. The music files can be sent in a variety of different ways, including wirelessly. In some cases, the on board music collection can also be remotely managed from a computer in wireless communication with the on board unit.
