In one embodiment, a method comprises receiving a unique identifier from an item and sending a communication to an electronic device requesting that a user confirm a pending transaction, receiving input from the electronic device associated, and sending the received input to an authentication system for completing a transaction. In another embodiment, a system comprises a sensor, an authentication system, and a transaction processing system. The sensor is configured to emit energy and receive at least one first identifier, send at least one communication to an electronic device requesting a second identifier, receive at least one second identifier, and send the at least one first identifier and the at least one second identifier to the authentication system.

Systems and methods for contactless and secure data transfer

The disclosed embodiments generally relate to transaction card constructions, and particularly, to a two-piece transaction card construction. Disclosed embodiments include a generally planar first card component including a first surface and a generally planar second card component including a second surface wherein the first card component is separate from the second card component. In disclosed embodiments, for example, the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a cavity and the other forms an inlay component configured to be seated within the cavity. In other embodiments the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a container and the other forms a lid configured to close the container.

A server system is provided for analyzing user interaction in an environment. The server system comprises a memory storing a set of instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations including determine a user has interacted with an item positioned in the environment based on a communication signal received from a hub physically located in the environment indicating an item tag associated with the item is linked with a user tag associated with the user. The server system may identify, based on one or more communication signals received from the hub, at least one metric associated with the user's interaction with the item and compare the at least one metric with a set of rules associated with the type of metric. The server system may provide an indication, based on the comparison, to a display device.

The authentication system is configured to receive the at least one first and second identifiers from the sensor, to choose, based on the at least one first identifier and the at least one second identifier, a transaction processing system, and send the at least one first and second identifiers to the chosen transaction processing system.

A virtualization system implemented within a cloud server enables the simulation of robot structure and behavior in a virtual environment. The simulated robots are controlled by clients remote from the cloud server, enabling human operators or autonomous robot control programs running on the clients to control the movement and behavior of the simulated robots within the virtual environment. Data describing interactions between robots, the virtual environment, and objects can be recorded for use in future robot design. The virtualization system can include robot templates, enabling users to quickly select and customize a robot to be simulated, and further enabling users to update and re-customize the robot in real-time during the simulation. The virtualization system can re-simulate a portion of the robot simulation when an intervention by a human operator is detected, positioning robots, people, and objects within the virtual environment based on the detected intervention.

Systems and methods are provided for activating a function of an account card based on physical devices interactions such as a motion pattern detected by the account card. In some embodiments, the account card may include one or more sensors and processing capabilities sufficient to store a motion pattern, detect a motion pattern representing movement of the account card, compare the detected motion pattern to the stored motion pattern, and activate one or more functions of the account card based on the comparison. In some embodiments, the one or more functions may relate to account information communication, such as writing a magnetic stripe, unblocking a magnetic stripe, activating a near field communication chip, displaying an account number, providing power to an antenna, or otherwise enabling communication of the account number based on the capabilities of the card.

Systems and methods for activating account card functions based on physical device interactions

In one embodiment, a server is provided for providing real-time monitoring of spending limits. The server may include memory storing software instructions, and a processor(s) configured to execute the software instructions to perform operations. The operations may include determining that a user has interacted with a store item in a retail environment. The operations may also include accessing a user profile of the user that includes a savings goal of the user, and determining that purchase of the store item would meet at least one trigger condition associated with the savings goal. The operations may further include generating an analysis of the estimated impact of the purchase to the savings goal, and providing the analysis to a device for display to the user while the user remains within the retail environment.
