A method, system and device are provided for authenticating a signature made by a signer. When the signer is making the signature a biometric quantity associated with the signer may be sampled. The sampling generates a sequence of biometric samples of the biometric quantity. Continuity of generated sequence of biometric samples of the biometric quantity is validated. Each of the biometric samples of the biometric quantity in the generated sequence is validated. The signature of the signer may be authenticated when the generated sequence of biometric samples is validated, and a continuity of the biometric samples is validated.

When within proximity, a proximity broadcast receiver may receive broadcast messages from the wireless identity transmitter and relay location information along with the wireless identity transmitter's identification code to a central server as sighting messages. The proximity broadcast receiver's own location may provide an approximate location for the wireless identity transmitter. The central server may process sighting messages, which may include signal strength information, to accurately locate the wireless identity transmitter. The central server may transmit data to third-party devices and/or mobile devices of users in response to receiving sightings messages.

A system and method for sharing geographical location information among a set of wireless telecommunication devices, such as mobile telephones. A first wireless telecommunication device generates geographical location information of that wireless telecommunication device, either through a resident device such as a GPS device, or has another computer device on the network provide the geographic location information, and then shares the geographical location information through sending the location information to one or more servers for relay to a predesignated target set of wireless telecommunication devices. The server stores the identity of member devices of the target set and controls communication between the first wireless telecommunications device and the member devices of the target set. A second server can be used to modify the geographical information, such as providing a map showing the location of the first wireless telecommunication device and other member devices of the target set.
