A computer-implemented method includes determining, by a computer device, composite view rules for combining first data from a first data record and second data from a second data record to create a composite view of an entity in a master data management system; receiving, by the computer device, the first data; receiving, by the computer device, the second data; creating, by the computer device, the composite view from the first data and the second data based on the composite view rules; physically materializing the composite view on a storage device; preserving, by the computer device, the first data record; and preserving, by the computer device, the second data record.

Embodiments of the present invention determines duplicates in a graph. The graph comprises nodes representing entities and edges representing relationships between the entities. The method comprises: identifying at least two nodes in the graph. A neighborhood subgraph may be determined for each of the two nodes. The neighborhood subgraph includes the respective node. The method further comprises determining whether the two nodes are duplicates with respect to each other, based on a result of a comparison between the two subgraphs.

Embodiments disclosed herein provide a system and method for analyzing an identity hub. Particularly, a user can connect to the identity hub, load an initial set of data records, create and/or edit an identity hub configuration locally, analyze and/or validate the configuration via a set of analysis tools, including an entity analysis tool, a data analysis tool, a bucket analysis tool, and a linkage analysis tool, and remotely deploy the validated configuration to an identity hub instance. Systems and methods for managing data are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention may allow attribute values associated with data records to be assembled and presented in a unified manner. More particularly, embodiments of the present invention may utilize a set of locally stored identity information associated with a data record to determine a set of logical procedures operable to retrieve values for one or more non-identity attributes from a remote location. Furthermore, other embodiments of the present invention may apply a logical procedure to the values of the attributes corresponding to data records to select one or more values of one or more attributes of the data records.

Embodiments of the invention provide a graphical interface for manipulating a representation of an algorithm for the configuration of such a system, including the configuration of how a system transforms data records from their native format to a standard data format, selects set of candidates and associates data records.
