An exemplary hand-held, power operated rotary knife dermatome comprises a blade housing assembly and a depth gauge assembly. The blade housing assembly includes an annular blade housing and a blade lock ring for rotatably supporting an annular rotary knife blade. The annular blade housing includes a shield extending radially inwardly from a blade receiving body and including an inner wall defining a tissue directing surface, the tissue directing surface including a first tissue guide surface extending upwardly from a lower end of the shield, the first tissue guide surface extending substantially parallel to the blade housing axially extending center line. The blade receiving body includes an annular blade channel extending axially upwardly from a lower surface of the blade receiving body, a bearing surface axially spaced from a lower surface of the blade receiving body, and a threaded portion formed on the outer surface of the annular blade housing.

Power operated rotary excision tool

A power operated trimming tool including a head assembly affixed to a handle assembly. The head assembly includes a frame body supporting a feed roll, a blade, a blade support and a blade retainer plate. The frame body includes an interface portion affixed to the handle assembly and a support portion extending from the interface portion. The blade support includes a cross member of the frame body and defines a blade support slot and a blade receiving opening at a rearward end of the slot. The blade retainer plate is pivotally coupled to the frame body and pivots between first and second positions, in the first position, the blade retainer plate positioned in proximity to the blade receiving opening of the blade support and, in the second position, the blade retainer plate being spaced from the blade receiving opening allowing access to a back side of the blade.

An exemplary hand-held, power operated dermatome comprises a blade housing assembly, a skin deflector, an annular rotary knife blade, a cutting plane, and a depth gauge. The rotary knife blade has an inner region, an upper body portion, and a lower cutting portion. The lower cutting portion has an inner surface, an outer surface, and a bottom surface. A cutting edge of the rotary knife blade is formed by the intersection between the inner surface and the bottom surface of the lower cutting portion. The cutting plane of the dermatome is defined by the cutting edge of the rotary knife blade, and the depth gauge is disposed within the inner region of the rotary knife blade.

A lug cart and support table assembly is disclosed comprising a support table having an upper support surface for supporting a breading machine. A lug tub-shaped lug located in the lug cart and a latching system affixed to the lug cart to removably attach the lug cart to a selected one of a front side and a rear side of the table assembly. The latching system includes a first latch assembly and a second latch assembly affixed to an end of the cart in spaced apart relation, each of the first and second latch assemblies includes a support body, a pivoting arm coupled to the support body and pivoting in a horizontal plane about a vertical axis between a locking position and a release position.

Lug cart & support table assembly for food product breading machine

A support table assembly for a food product breading machine. The support table assembly includes a support table defining an upper support surface for supporting a breading machine, a guide coupled to the support table assembly and a slide assembly that is slidable beneath the support table along the guide between a first and a second position. The slide assembly defines an opening sized to receive a lug. In the first position of the slide assembly, the finished product lug is aligned with a first end of the breading machine such that finished products discharged from the breading machine drop into the lug and, in the second position of the slide assembly, the lug is aligned with a second end of the breading machine such that materials discharged from the breading machine during a cleaning operation drop into the lug.
