A system may include a processor configured to: (a) obtain parameters; (b) based on the parameters, update flight-state data associated with an aircraft; (c) obtain a trained machine learning (ML) model; (d) based at least on the updated flight-state data and the trained ML model, infer a direction from a current cell for a reroute; (e) based on the inferred direction and the updated flight-state data, set the current cell and identify neighboring cells; (f) calculate an optimal next cell by using a shortest path finding (SPF) algorithm to select the optimal next cell from the neighboring cells; (g) iteratively repeat steps (d) through (f) such that the current cell is set as the optimal next cell until a goal state is reached; (h) construct a re-route using optimal cells iteratively calculated in step (f); and (i) output the re-route.

System and method for performing re-routing in real time

A system and method for accessing data to meet disparate security, integrity, and latency requirements includes multiple databases instantiated in the system with different performance attributes. The system receives a data access request from a client application. The system determines one or more data access requirements associated with the data access request and identify a database or set of databases that conform to those requirements. The system then submits the data access request to the identified databases and returns the result to the client application. The system may determine a data integrity threshold for the data access request, and submit the data access request to two or more databases simultaneously.

The controller is configured to receive the three-dimensional symbology from the third-party accessible API. A bezel for overhead panels provides a grip or hand rest so the pilot is not required to maintain a hand at a specific overhead location in space to interactive with a touchscreen display device. Gripping mechanisms take the strain off the arm and allow for more precise inputs during turbulence. In a further aspect, the bezel includes features at known locations to tactilely identify the location. Such features may include indentations or protrusions.

A station for monitoring and managing multiple unmanned aircraft includes a data radio for receiving status data from one or more unmanned aircraft currently under the control of that station (and for sending command and control messages thereto). Each controlled aircraft is assigned processing resources including a high assurance router for identifying flight-critical status data (FCSD) and forwarding said FCSD to the aircraft manager dedicated to that aircraft. The aircraft manager generates status updates for its assigned aircraft based on the FCSD. Each station has a display manager for synchronizing status updates from the aircraft managers of all controlled aircraft and managing a priority queue of the controlled aircraft such that selected aircraft, e.g., early-connecting or warning-condition, are given highest priority. A display unit updates the synchronized status of each controlled aircraft; flight displays of a high priority aircraft may be shown, with summary windows for secondary aircraft.

The widget creating system may include a system configuration file, one or more definition files, and a windows generator (WG). The WG may be configured to perform definition and run-time operations. The definition operation may include loading the system configuration file; loading first definition file(s) owned by a first user application and include at least one first-layer widget defined by a set of widget parameters, where each set may include contents corresponding to a second definition file of a second layer; and creating one or more first-layer widgets. The run-time operation may include loading one or more first-layer widget data parameter sets, where the contents corresponding to the second definition file are loaded and at least one second-layer widget is created during run time.

A system and related methods for digital map enabled search pattern generation by a flight management system retrieves from a digital map a set of pattern points corresponding to a selected search pattern parameter, such as a coastline, boundary, lateral terrain feature, or manmade structure, and a designated search area. The flight management system generates a sequence of waypoints based on the set of pattern points and a variable search radius, the sequence of waypoints optimizing efficient coverage of the search pattern parameter. The flight management system generates a full search pattern based on the generated sequence of waypoints; the generated search pattern may be approved or evaluated by the FMS, or forwarded to a rerouter for modification according to terrain avoidance factors.

Methods and systems for integration of symbology and flight planning information in a flight management system are disclosed. A method may include: receiving a portion of a flight plan from an auxiliary flight management system; receiving graphical data for the portion of the flight plan from the auxiliary flight management system; integrating the portion of the flight plan received from the auxiliary flight management system into at least one additional portion of the flight plan managed by a primary flight management system to produce an integrated flight plan; and displaying the integrated flight plan to a user, wherein the portion of the flight plan received from the auxiliary flight management system is displayed at least partially based on the graphical data for the portion of the flight plan received from the auxiliary flight management system.

Systems and methods for providing dynamic libraries in safety critical computing environments are disclosed. Controlled dynamic libraries and isolated execution spaces are utilized. In some embodiments, the controlled dynamic libraries and isolated execution spaces are implemented in full compliance with rules and standards established by aviation regulatory and government agencies, allowing systems utilizing the controlled dynamic libraries to be certifiable for avionics.
