The present teachings provide for an actuator system including a support; a drive system connected to the support; a shift fork operatively connected to the drive system and configured to move a distance defining a stroke length between a disengaged position and an engaged position, the shift fork having a cam follower; a cam assembly operatively connected with the drive system to move between a neutral position, and a shifted position, with a plurality of intermediate positions between the neutral and shifted positions, the shift fork being in the disengaged position when the cam assembly is in the neutral position, the cam assembly including: a cam having an aperture defining an interior surface; a hub housing disposed within the aperture of the cam and connected to the drive system; and a biasing member disposed within the aperture and preloaded between an interior surface of the aperture and the hub housing.

Actuator system

The present teachings generally provide for an actuator assembly to move between a decoupled position, and a coupled position. The actuator assembly includes a shift assembly including a gear connected to the motor, an input member in communication with the gear configured to transition between a first position and a second position; an output member operatively connected to the input member and configured to move a distance defining a stroke length between a disengaged position and an engaged position; and a biasing member connecting the input member to the output member. The input member rotates from the first position to the second position relative to the output member, increasing a tension of the biasing member due to an interference causing a blocked condition. The biasing member rotates the output member in a releasing condition upon clearance of the interference such that the output member rotates through the stroke length.

Rotary decoupling actuator assembly with integrated spring assistance for blocked engagement

The present teachings provide for a system comprising a gearbox including a gear assembly, the gearbox having an outer surface, the outer surface with a pair of apertures; and an actuator. The actuator including a support with a pair of lugs, with each lug having an opening; an drive system connected to the support; a shift fork including a pair of arms, the shift fork in communication with the drive system and configured to move a distance defining a stroke length between a disengaged position and an engaged position; and an actuation assembly operatively connected with the drive system to move the shift fork between a neutral position, and a shifted position, with a plurality of intermediate positions between the neutral and shifted positions. The actuator is mounted onto the outer surface of the gearbox, with the pair of lugs extending into the pair of apertures of the gearbox, and at least a portion of the shift fork extends extending through the lugs into and below the outer surface of the gearbox. The portion of the shift fork within the gearbox engages a gear assembly within the gearbox.

External actuator system

The invention relates to a linear actuator () for an automobile transmission comprising an electric motor () for moving a transmission control member () between a plurality of shift positions, a spring () for driving the transmission control member () to an end position of the shift range in case of electric power failure, and a worm screw () to drive a displaceable worm wheel () with a pinion () meshing with a displaceable gear rack (). The transmission control member () is displaceably coupled to the worm wheel (). The gear rack () is blocked by an electrically activated lock against linear displacement with the spring () in a compressed state such that upon interruption of power supply to the lock the gear rack () is released and linearly displaced by the spring () thereby shifting the transmission control element () to its end position.

Linear actuator with safety mechanism

A height adjustment arrangement () for a lawn mower () for changing a cutting height is provided. The height adjustment arrangement comprises a respective link arm () pivotally arranged at opposite sides of the chassis (), and a transversal rod () extending between the link arms () comprising wheel attachment ends () configured to protrude outwardly from the respective link arm (). The height adjustment arrangement further comprises a locking arrangement () for releaseably locking at least one of the link arms () in a pivot position. The transversal rod comprises connection portions () which are essentially parallel to the link arms and releasably connected thereto such that pivoting of the link arm () causes the wheel attachment ends () to synchronously change the cutting height of the lawn mower chassis ().

A gearshift assembly for a transmission includes a shift lever which is mounted for pivotal movement in a select direction between a shifting gate for automatic mode and a shifting gate for manual mode. The gearshift assembly also includes a return mechanism including a push member, an electric motor mechanically acting on the shift lever through the push member, a driven member connected to the push member, a spring acting between the push member and the driven member, and a blocking element which can be actuated to move out of a blocking position in which the blocking element blocks the movement of the shift lever from the shifting gate for automatic mode to the shifting gate for manual mode. The return mechanism also includes a wheel drivable for rotation by the electric motor.

A walk-behind lawn mower comprising a body with an engine driving a cutting blade, and a handle assembly which is pivotably connected to the body. The lawn mower furthermore comprises a handle control arrangement for controlling pivotal movement of the handle assembly relative to the body, between a working position and a pivoted position. The handle control arrangement comprises a locking member, selectively displaceable between an open state in which the locking member allows pivotal movement of the handle assembly from the working position to the pivoted position, and a locked state in which the locking member inhibits pivotal movement of the handle assembly from the working position to the pivoted position. The handle control arrangement also comprises an actuating member operatively connected to the locking member and controlling the state of the locking member. The actuating member is also arranged to control activation and deactivation of a device arranged to inhibit rotation of the cutting blade of the walk-behind lawn mower.

The present invention relates to a latching device for a slide rod system incorporated into a door. The latching device includes a keeper plate engaged to the slide rod, a positioning bracket engaged to a door, and a roller bracket having a roller adapted for engagement to the positioning bracket and the keeper plate. The slide rod and keeper plate are adapted for positioning within a slide channel. The roller bracket is adapted for engagement to a doorframe channel. The positioning bracket includes a slot which receives the roller whereupon the keeper plate is at least partially manipulated vertically to maneuver the keeper to the rear of the roller to accomplish latching of a door.

Control roller mechanism-activator

The invention relates to a door hinge system which includes an integral exposed vertically oriented pin as a portion of a doorframe bracket, and a central latch bracket as engaged to a door. The pivotal manipulation of the door engages the latch of the central latch bracket to the pin, to secure the door to the doorframe. The central latch bracket includes a channel for receipt of the pin which is securely and releasably retained in the channel by the leading cam edge of the latch and safety slide. Disengagement of the latch from the pin enables a door to be easily separated from doorframe for re-hanging at a future time.
