A method includes providing a differential signal and generating an in-phase component of the differential signal and a quadrature component of the differential signal. The method further includes generating an output signal representing a capacitance value using the in-phase component and the quadrature component.

A first analog block includes a first plurality of switched capacitors and a second analog block includes a second plurality of switched capacitors. A switch associated with the first plurality of switched capacitors as well as a switch associated with the second plurality of switched capacitors may be configured based on one or more analog functions. The configuring of the first analog and the second analog block may include the configuring of the switch associated with the first plurality of switched capacitors when the analog function is associated with a first single ended signal and the configuring of both the switch associated with the first plurality of switched capacitors and the switch associated with the second plurality of switched capacitors when the analog function is associated with a differential signal.

Integrated circuit device with programmable analog subsystem

A fingerprint sensing circuit, system, and method is disclosed. The fingerprint sensor maybe include a plurality of inputs coupled to a plurality of fingerprint sensing electrodes and to an analog front end. The analog front end may be configured to generate at least one digital value in response to a capacitance of at least one of the plurality of fingerprint sensing electrodes. Additionally, the analog front end may include a quadrature demodulation circuit to generate at least one demodulated value for processing by a channel engine. The channel engine may generate a capacitance result value that is based, in part, on the demodulated value and is stored in a memory.

A first portion of a programmable switched capacitor block includes a first plurality of switched capacitors and a second portion of the programmable switched capacitor block includes a second plurality of switched capacitors. A first switch associated with the first plurality of switched capacitors as well as a second switch associated with the second plurality of switched capacitors may be configured based on a type of analog function that is to be provided. A power supply includes a source signal generating circuit, an output stage, and a feedback stage. The power supply further includes a replica stage configured to replicate a response of the output stage to the source signal, and an output regulator coupling the replica stage to the output stage, configured to adjust a feedback signal to the source signal generating circuit by shunting the feedback stage when a loaded output stage response does not match a response of the replica stage to the source signal.

A system and method for determining a SONOS Vwindow using a current sensing scheme is disclosed. The present invention creates a first current path and a second current path through the volatile and non-volatile sections of an nvSRAM memory cell. The erase threshold voltage of the first edge of the window is determined when current is detected in the first path. The program voltage of the second edge of the window is determined when current is detected in the second path. Accordingly, the voltage used to power a plurality of SONOS transistors may be set using the values of the first and second threshold edges to determine the Vwindow.
