An assembly is provided for an aircraft propulsion system. This assembly includes a nacelle inlet structure extending axially along and circumferentially about an axis. The nacelle inlet structure includes an inlet lip, an inner barrel, an outer barrel and a plurality of supports. The inlet lip forms a leading edge of the nacelle inlet structure. The inner barrel projects axially aft away from the inlet lip. The outer barrel projects axially aft away from the inlet lip. The outer barrel is radially outboard of and axially overlaps the inner barrel. The supports are arranged circumferentially about the axis in an array. Each of the supports extends longitudinally along the axis. Each of the supports extends radially between and is connected to the inner barrel and the outer barrel.

Outer barrel support structure for nacelle inlet structure

A method of assembling and installing an underwing package to an underside of an aircraft wing is disclosed. In various embodiments, the method includes assembling the underwing package, comprising at least a pylon and an engine, using a build frame; attaching a transfer cart to the underwing package; lowering the underwing package and the transfer cart from the build frame; transporting the underwing package and the transfer cart to the underside of the aircraft wing; and transferring the underwing package from the transfer cart to the underside of the aircraft wing.

Total underwing nacelle and engine installation

A system is provided for a nacelle of an aircraft propulsion system. This system includes a tubular outer structure, a tubular inner structure and a seal assembly. The tubular inner structure projects through a bore of the tubular outer structure. The seal assembly is configured to close an end of an annulus between the tubular outer structure and the tubular inner structure. The seal assembly includes a seal land and a seal element. The seal land includes a seal land mount that circumscribes and is attached to the tubular inner structure. The seal land mount is configured with a v-shaped sectional geometry. The seal element is attached to the tubular outer structure. The seal element circumscribes and is sealingly engaged with the seal land. The seal element may be configured from or otherwise includes a polymer material.
