An adjusting device for headlights, in particular for truck headlights, comprising a linear drive unit containing a threaded rod mounted for rotation, in threaded engagement with a control element, which control element can be moved in the axial direction of the threaded rod by turning the threaded rod, a pivot lever which has an articulated connection to the actuator, and an engagement element of the pivot lever which can act on the lighting unit to be adjusted, wherein the articulated connection is formed by a bearing part of the pivot lever and by a supporting part of the actuator such that the pivot lever can be turned about a horizontal pivot axis extending through the articulated connection, such that the engagement element is arranged in an upper region of the pivot lever in the vertical direction, and such that the articulated connection is arranged in a lower region of the pivot lever in the vertical direction.

Adjusting device for headlights

A headlight for vehicles, in particular trucks, comprising a lighting unit which is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis; a linear drive unit which contains a linearly movable actuator; and a pivoting lever which is coupled to a lighting unit at a first end and to the actuator at a second end, wherein the lighting unit is pivotable by means of the actuator. The pivoting lever is designed in multiple parts, comprising a lower pivoting lever element having a support part for supporting on the actuator and an upper pivoting lever element on which a horizontal axis is arranged, the pivoting lever being pivotably mounted about said axis.

A lighting device for vehicles with a multitude of light modules, each comprising a light source arranged on a substrate and a lens arranged at a distance to the light source for the creation of a given light distribution. A fixed side light module and a fixed main light module are provided as a light module. The side light module has an asymmetric lens, so that a light beam radiated by the side light module creates a side light distribution extending a main light distribution created by the main light module in the lateral direction.

A vehicle lighting system includes first and second lighting devices. The first lighting device has a first opening, and the second lighting device has a second opening. The first opening provides access to a first installation space on the first lighting device, and the second opening provides access to a second installation space on the second lighting device. The first and second installation spaces are essentially mirror images of one another. A first fan unit is located at the first opening and a second fan unit is located at the second opening. The first and second fan units are essentially mirror images of one another.
