A pressurization dehydrator comprising an air compressor and a controller connected to enable automatic operation of the dehydrator. The dehydrator is implemented as a freestanding, bench-top unit having a housing that encloses a baffle plate on which the compressor is mounted. The bottom panel of the housing is affixed to the plate using dampers inserted therebetween. The plate has legs protruding through the corresponding openings in the bottom panel for supporting the whole unit in the upright position on the bench top. Some or all of the legs may not have contact with edges of the openings. In operation, the legs provide an efficient mechanical pathway for transferring some vibrational energy of the plate to the bench top, thereby diverting said energy away from the housing. The circuit board of the controller is affixed to the housing, which beneficially reduces vibration levels transferred to the electronic components of the controller.

Apparatuses, methods of assembling a resonator, and methods of tuning a resonator are provided. An example apparatus may include at least one resonator comprising a resonator hole defined within the resonator and defining an inner wall of the at least one resonator, a tuning cover comprising at least one hollow rod, and a tuning element comprising a bottom flanged portion. The tuning element may be configured to be inserted into the at least one hollow rod and the bottom flanged portion is configured to cover at least a bottom portion of the hollow rod. The bottom flanged portion of the tuning element is configured to be positioned between the at least one hollow rod and the inner wall of the at least one resonator.

An enclosure for electronics includes a base, a base cover, a gasket, and an enclosure cover. The base receives one or more electronic elements. The base cover is mounted over the first base to secure the electronic elements within the base and form a unit having a groove in at least a part of the periphery of the unit. The gasket resides within the groove of the first unit. The enclosure cover is mounted over the first unit and the gasket and applies a compressive force to the gasket such that the gasket (i) forms a seal for the enclosure and (ii) applies force that secures at least a part of the periphery of the first base cover to at least a part of the periphery of the first base. In a single-unit assembly, the enclosure cover is an assembly cover that attaches to the unit. In a dual-unit assembly, each unit functions as the enclosure cover for the other unit in a clam-shell configuration.

A radio-frequency (RF), base station notch filter includes an integral, conductive RF notch filter structure having one or more notch filter elements, where the notch filter elements may be circular in shape. Antenna array calibration systems and related methods include or utilize a plurality of signal splitter/combiner networks. Each of the signal splitter/combiner networks has a calibration signal sampling point in electrical communication with a signal input point, and signal output points. Each calibration signal sampling point may be capacitively coupled to a respective calibration source input of a calibration network. The signal splitter/combiner networks may be formed as phase-shifting networks.

Methods and systems for calibrating LTE antenna systems

Various embodiments relate to a base station element and related method of suppressing an alternating-current (AC) portion of a signal. A base station element includes a filter capable of lightning suppression through the use of an LC filter that suppresses an AC portion of a received signal while passing a DC portion of the signal. The LC filter includes a flat inductor disposed in a cavity of the base station. The flat inductor may be connected to other electrical components disposed in the cavity of the base station to complete the electrical circuit. In some embodiments, the flat inductor may be produced from one material through photo-etching and may also include snap in or snap on connectors on one or both ends to enable galvanic contact with other components like a tap pin or a printed circuit board (PCB) without requiring attachment through soldering.

Various exemplary embodiments relate to a support assembly for a planar filter. The assembly includes a u-shaped housing with angled surfaces at the inner corners of the u-shape, a first dielectric plate having a first angled surface in contact with one of the angled surfaces of the housing, a second dielectric plate having a second angled surface in contact with the other angled surface of the housing, at least one compressible ring, and a cover. The planar filter is supported between the first dielectric plate and the second dielectric plate. The cover compresses the compressible ring to apply downward force on the first and second dielectric plates. The downward force is translated to an inward force by the angled surfaces of the housing. The angled surfaces of the housing apply an inward force on the first dielectric plate and the second dielectric plate.

Various exemplary embodiments relate to a tuning element assembly and method for tuning an a radio frequency (RF) component, where the component has one or more walls defining a cavity, with at least one wall having at least one bore hole. A bushing is mounted in the bore hole in the wall, and a tuning element is slidably mounted and received in the bushing so that the tuning element projects inwardly through the bushing and into the cavity and is axially adjustable. A method of tuning an RF component also includes providing a bushing mounted in a bore in a wall of the RF component, sliding a tuning element that is slidably mounted and received in the bushing so that the tuning element projects inwardly through the bushing and into the cavity by a distance varying according to the sliding of the tuning element, monitoring a performance characteristic of the RF component, and releasing the tuning element so that a desired performance characteristic is achieved.

Communications connectors communicatively and physically join a plurality of network elements. Communications connectors are substantially flangeless so as to provide a substantially continuous surface between the connector and network elements joined thereto. Communications connectors may include or be modified with a grounding surface or a seating member. Communications connectors include a variety of communicative contact surfaces and joining mechanisms, including those compatible with known 7/16 DIN connections. Methods include installing network elements to connection interfaces on connectors without the use of a flange or other exterior part. Methods optionally include applying an adhesive to connection interfaces to provide a breakable, locked connection between network elements and connectors.
